I have the same problem. I'm just sooooooo gorgeous I find it hard to say goodbye to my reflection when I've finished brushing my teeth!! LOL!!! It takes all sorts.

I think a lot of you sound victim to the beauty myth, as does the woman in the article

maybe if women are kept divided and in conflict, if they think they're worth is based in their looks then they will never be equal to men

There is some evidence that Brick would write pretty much anything to get published as a freelanacer, but it certainly wouldn't get published as a feature in the Daily Mail unless it fed into its anti-women agenda - and pandered to the beauty myth, as you say, boglach.

And I do agree that women get jealous of each other's looks, but only because we are trained to think that way. not all women but a lot of them.

And when you really analyse our obsession with looks and weight it is quite ridiculous. We all die, we all age. It is a myth pedalled by men, by the beauty industry and by consumerism.
