I have just been sent this link by a friend who is a step-mum. You may want to have something soft for your jaw to land on when it hits the floor.

I read that earlier what a petty, jealous woman. She should be ashamed of herself.

LeBOF · 19/01/2012 12:42

That poor child. Imagine having your photograph in The Daily Mail Sad

TubbyDuffs · 19/01/2012 12:42

She's going to look like a right prat when she eventually gets over him and meets someone else, can see a big U-turn on the cards.

I'd be more pissed off as her husband to have my son pictured in the newspapers, bet she didn't get his agreement to that one.

ivykaty44 · 19/01/2012 12:43

is it another daily mail link?

LeBOF · 19/01/2012 12:44

Yes- another of their articles about Women Who Are Bonkers.

HowToLookGoodGlaikit · 19/01/2012 12:46

That woman clearly has issues.

Kayano · 19/01/2012 12:46

I think

'vindictive bitch and shit mum'

Threatening to move away and get remarried and have
More kids for the sole purpose of spiting your ex?

How twisted is she? Get a life outside controlling the child.
He is just as much the dads as hers and she is treating the bairn as hers alone.

I feel bloody sick reading that shit

Solo · 19/01/2012 12:47

Hmmmm...

Mrsrobertduvall · 19/01/2012 12:47

I hate the way they pose mum and son in "sad face" mode.
Poor kid.

duckdodgers · 19/01/2012 12:47

Well this particular woman clearly has issues.

"its the little things like reading to them that might not mean as much to a Father" Hmm

wahwahwah · 19/01/2012 12:47

I love the photo - should be captioned 'outraged of Tunbridge Wells'. Who the hell are all those people on the right hand side of the screen?

GirlWithPointyShoes · 19/01/2012 12:47

Her son will soon grow up and read this. She will be a very lonely woman one day.

I know a few step-parents that add so much to their SCs lives. Fair enough there is always the possibility that they will be horrible but to not even give them a chance? And to say it in such a way.

Memoo · 19/01/2012 12:49

CAn't access link , can someone explain?

ComposHat · 19/01/2012 12:49

Why I?ll NEVER let my ex?s new girlfriend meet my son*

*But why I am quite happy to exploit him and badmouth his father in a National comic Newspaper
I wonder if the photographer got the little boy to pose by saying 'now look really angry and cross with dad, your best silent rebukey face.'

MissMogwi · 19/01/2012 12:49

Wtf? She sounds very selfish and immature. Threatening to move away, get married, and have another man be Daddy to her son?

Jezza fodder right there.

foglike · 19/01/2012 12:50

What's Frank going to do about this?

If this is a truthful representation of what she's like he should be applying for custody.

wannaBe · 19/01/2012 12:54

selfish bitch.

ArielNonBio · 19/01/2012 12:54

Poor little bugger :(

sunshineandbooks · 19/01/2012 12:56

Clearly this woman has some significant issues, which at some point are likely to turn round and bite her on the arse.

However, this is in the DM because it plays beautifully to their rhetoric that when it comes to separated parents, all mothers obstruct contact and all fathers are innocent hard-done by victims.

The reality for the majority is actually very different.

Enidcoleslaw · 19/01/2012 12:56

There's so much that's bonkers in that article - the "therapist"'s list of things that would mean little to fathers is particularly mad and offensive. I feel sorry for everyone involved, that woman seems very bitter and insecure.

My son has a good relationship with his step-dad and with his dad's girlfriend. Love isn't finite, he won't love me or his dad any less because he has more people who love him in his life, more love is a good thing surely?

I agree with leBOF though, the fail has it's own agenda with articles like these.

GirlWithPointyShoes · 19/01/2012 12:57

She wrote it herself. Apparently she is a freelance journalist.

It's a very odd thing to write about yourself.

Kayano, brilliant. I think 'vindictive bitch and shit mum' says it all. Vile creature.

katz · 19/01/2012 12:58

my reaction was just shock and amazement that someone could be so controlling. I did like the way she said if her ex remarried and had children she would expect him to continue 1-2-1 only with their son and he was to not have anything to do with his fathers new family, what a fruitcake. If i was his father i would be using the article as evidence in court for withholding access.

ArtVandelay · 19/01/2012 12:59

Those shoes Shock With the opaque tights wrinkling round the ankle strap - awful...

Poor child.

ArtVandelay · 19/01/2012 13:01

That therapist sounds a right sexist tit as well
