Ooo what kind of decorating valium, painting or wallpapering?

Boring boring painting doors - God it's taking AGES and will need another coat and I thought I would finish today I've just done 2 doors having a cuppa then going back to it!

I love painting, maybe I am just weird

I am guessing you have finished and you're now relaxing. Well my housework turned into tidying up a bit outside, pulling up a few weeds trying to grow grrrr, so maybe I will get to do a bit of housework shortly

I thought I loved painting...but then I moved into a house where every room needed to be painted. It turns out I only love choosing colors. And the smell of paint. HATE all the faff of painting! Ah well. :o Got to be done!

I have to run and pay the water bill before DS gets home today, and tidy up since the house is a disaster after my weekend away. Then I have to work at the cinema. Then tomorrow I have to pick up DS and a friend from school and try to keep them from destroying the house have a lovely playdate. And bake cupcakes with yellow frosting, because they are for our guests who are coming to watch DS test in Tae Kwon Do to get his yellow stripe on his belt. Then Wednesday morning he has one of his preschool programs and we have to pack for Michigan. Then on Thursday he has ANOTHER preschool program and we are leaving immediately after to drive to Chicago. And then the next morning we drive to Michigan, then Saturday's my cousin's wedding, then we are leaving Sunday and will be home Monday, then Tuesday we're back at work. Then Wednesday and Thursday and THEN I AM DONE FOR THE SUMMER.

And then I might get to breathe. :o Sorry for that huge whining list, I am just feeling a tiny bit overwhelmed! Sheesh. This month has been insane!

Valium I am the same about walls vs. trim/doors. What colour are your doors going to be?

Wow Cheerful sounds as though you are really busy as well! Understand about the drive, though. I used to think 28 hrs straight with a driving partner was no big deal (where the rellies live). But now, with DS...more than 7 or maybe 8 is about it for his patience and my ability to entertain whilst driving! 12 would be well over his my capacity without a good break in the middle. My best tip is leaving at, 2 or 3am so DS can sleep for a good bit of it. Hope you have a good trip!

Hello Tea! :) Just a lot going on right now. Missed the bench terribly though! How are things with you?

Best not answer until later when I have some perspective. Really hoped to meet someone today, even arranged for DS to spend time with Dad which involved an 80 min round trip and for someone to collect DD from school and for some reason it hasn't come together, but I have yet to know why. Just feeling cross and sad too. Cryptic but that's all you're going to get ladies. I shall return to sulking now
