To ask you to vote in a poll re: my username

Okay, I know my name ruffles feathers. MNHQ sent me a (very nice) email back in February asking if I would consider changing it, I have only just seen the email Blush

I said to MNHQ that I might throw it open to a poll. They said probably not a good idea because people who would prefer me to change it might be reluctant to admit it for fear of being called a prude. So here's the deal; you can be honest. If you think I should revert to CupcakesandBunting say so and no-one will call you a prude here. If you'd like my present name to stay say so too. No-one will call you a potty-mouthed numpty. Also, if you couldn't give a crap, you can say so too Wink

But what will we shorten it to?

GreenEyesandHam · 16/07/2011 22:29

Why the hostility Yummy? Or am I reading it wrongly Blush

Quite a few people (including me) have said they don't like it. Though in my case it's the bupcakes that makes my teeth itch

cloudydays · 16/07/2011 22:31

It doesn't offend me at all, and I don't mind swearing in names, but I do think it comes across as needy and attention-seeking.

As does asking people to vote in a poll about it. Grin

GreenEyesandHam · 16/07/2011 22:31

BupcakesandCunting · 16/07/2011 22:34

I like wanksock too. And shitmagnet. I am immature.

Yeah yeah, checking to see if I am offending every man and his dog on MN: needy and attention-seeking...

I am going to update. I like cupcakesandtwunting.

whatever, does not offend me so whatever you want to do

SeymoreButts · 16/07/2011 22:37

Really not keen on splayed or derivatives of!

SeymoreButts · 16/07/2011 22:37

bupcakesandtrumping?

TheDevilsConcubine · 16/07/2011 22:40

Grin seymore
nothing like a good old fashioned splaying

YummyHoney · 16/07/2011 22:40

Apologies. I'm pre-menstrual and really am in the foulest of moods. I'm going to go to the kitchen and stab my DH pour a very large glass of wine and attempt to converse with my teenage DD to see if I can get her to speak sentences with more than 2 words in them.

Night.

caramelwaffle · 16/07/2011 22:40

13 pages now? Wow.

Your MN name is twee and norty at the same time.

So'ok for Grown Up Adults.

Has anyone complained about The Children reading it?

BitOfFun · 16/07/2011 22:41

Cupcakesandtwunting is good too- still recognisably you.

CupcakesandTwunting · 16/07/2011 22:41

Yummy isn't being aggressive. She's being funny. I think.

Wink
AitchTwoOh · 16/07/2011 22:41

funnily enough, i like bupcakes rather than cupcakes. cupcakes are a bit over...

TheDevilsConcubine · 16/07/2011 22:42

did you know you can actually buy a vibrator with a sticky thing on the end so you can stick it upright on washingmachine whatever you want to sit on!

reelingintheyears · 16/07/2011 22:43

YummyHoney...

Now that's not very nice is it?

TheDevilsConcubine · 16/07/2011 22:43

[hbiscuit]

tastes like shit with this hat on

CupcakesandTwunting · 16/07/2011 22:43

Oh Yummy come back you daft cow. No-one cares. It is a non-serious thread so channel your aggression into the lulz. There'll be kebabs and lion fights later on! Stay. I feel I could like you Wink

TheDevilsConcubine · 16/07/2011 22:44

anyhoo

sorry for bending the thread to my own selfish whims.

are you going to be bupcakesandtwunting or trumping

CupcakesandTwunting · 16/07/2011 22:45

Devils you've been able to get those for years! Grin

They're shit, btw.

GreenEyesandHam · 16/07/2011 22:46

No I didn't DevsConk!

Would be no good for me though, the washer sits 'neath the worktop. I'd have to stick it to the door and bend over. And I'm a martyr to my back these days...

TheDevilsConcubine · 16/07/2011 22:46

actually this name makes me nervous with it's flagrant missing apostrophe

mrsdonkeybucket · 16/07/2011 22:46

I don't mind either of your names.

Bupcakes/Cupcakes

Instantly recognisable. And I also know if your name crops up that the thread is likely to be funny, which is very helpful after a really crap day.
