To think size 10 is slim?

I realise it depends on how tall someone is, I'm 5'8" and a size 10 which in my head is a slim combination but when I look in the mirror I look quite chunky, it is driving me insane as I can't work out whether a 10 isn't actually that slim or whether it's some kind of weird dysmorphia where I look bigger than I am. Can I just add I am not fishing, just wanted some opinions and wondered if anyone else has a similar thing

Oh dear, I think I have anti-body dysmorphia.

I'm about 5'5" (ish) and think I look slim when I weigh about 10 stone and comfortably fit a 12 (currently 11 stone as had DS2 fairly recently) I am broad shouldered though so more broad than wide at 10 stone. It always worries me on threads like this how many people who weigh much, much less than me are worrying about their size, makes me think I'm probably fat but delusional Smile.

Very interesting thead.
I'm 5.7 weigh in around 8stone 7, but have been much lighter, before 3 kids and before hitting 40 weighed around 7 stone 12. Here is the but....if I go more than a pound or 2 over 8.7 I feel fat!! I am sure it is body Dismorphia, but I really can see the saddle bags wobble. Although I am slim I am really curvy. Boobs 32 D waist 24ins hips 36/37 ins. I think I look ridiculous.
Do others get paranoid too!!!

My partner is 5ft 7 & size 10. She's slim by UK standards but feels fat when she goes home.

When I met her, she was a perfect size 8 and to be perfectly honest, I can see the difference. She did look better as an 8 than a 10.

I've got body dysmorphia but it's not helped by my body!

When I weigh 10lbs less than I do now I fit pretty well into size 8 bottoms and size 10 tops which at a shade over 5ft I'm happy with. Having put on those 10lbs I'm now in size 10 bottoms which is still OK but I've just had to buy some size 14 tops.

Chickydoo, like the OP, you clearly have an hourglass figure, which means that, even at your lightest, you have shapely legs with relatively fleshy thighs and proportionately big boobs.

It's the perfect figure, the one everyone wants, the one we're suppose to be trying to achieve when we choose clothes. A balance between your shoulders and hips and a relatively small waist (I'm guessing your boobs measure about 34/35 around the widest point?)

If you learn to dress it in a flattering way you won't even think about wobbly bits, real or imagined.
