To not allow DP to do this to me?

Am regular but have name changed as very embarrassed.

DP is a lovely guy and we have been together for a long time. We have always had great sex life and I like to think I am quite liberal.

However, recently, he only seems to be able to ejaculate if I allow him to do it over my face? I am uncomfortable with it. I think it's a bit weird. He says it's horny.

Is this a thing? AIBU?

Two warning bells: he 'only' seems to be able to do it like this, and you are uncomfortable with it. Both of those seem to suggest that you need to tackle it with him - if it was part of a range of sexual activities (i.e. he could come in other ways) AND if you found it a turn on too, it wouldn't be an issue, but since that's not the case, YANBU to bring it up with him.

Nothing to do with sex should be something "done" to one person by another person, as if they are an inflatable doll. Sex should be something you do together. If you don't want to do this, don't.

And the "only" being able to come like this thing is not good. Need addressing pronto.

A sudden recent interest in a particular sexual practice that he has never been into before has come from somewhere. I'd be very surprised if it hadn't come from watching porn.

Its definitely a porn thing. There is also a whole genre devoted to women wearing glasses. No I didn't see the point either, but the idea is that they can then keep their eyes open at the crucial time to get a better look. This seems to be a male fantasy that we actually want to see that much. Reminds me of little boys being proud when they. Oh the glamour... Hmm
