I didnt post to be bitchy. I am genuinely disturbed by the whole thing. But I feel uncomfortable now, like I am doing something wrong.

hecate she said it on more than one occasion too! thankfully i am hard as nails thick skinned so i let it wash over me (and knew before going on there how stupid they were - but even that one floored me!).

Oh and one of the posters did the stupid 'wagging finger' emoticon at me! (cant remember what i did - think i called the OP immature). I had to stop myself ripping at her! WTF is all this with the wagging fingers? I felt like i was back at primary school...

In a way MN has 'Won' because to get advertising space on here, you need great content and a sack of money, whereas to get on NM...you need a product fulfilling their basic moral criteria and a more moderate sum. It is MN that gets referenced on TV programes - positively or otherwise, and sometimes i just don't seem to be able to get away from Justine's voice on Radio4!

Babyworld is even worse than NM's. If you type "bugger" they change it to "rascal" which really doesn't work.
There are also "huns" galore and you can't say much without being modded. I'm on my last warning, rascal that I am.
The mods take offence at anything and everything.
Are there actually any mods on here? It seems you can say anything. Not necessarily a bad thing but the first time I say the very bad c-word I needed to sit down with a cup of strong tea after the namby-pambying of BW.
