I agree with MadamDeathstare. Why be mean about another site for being more polite and fussy than here? If it doesn't suit you, leave them alone. Different is OK, what harm do they do?

i have bought and sold quite a lot of baby equipment/toys through our local pages, found out about days out, playgroups and met some other local parents and kids

I left NetMums in a Big Huff after being told off by the mods for getting irate with someone who said that Jean Charles De Menezes was a parasite who brought his death upon himself by remaining in the country illegally

My argument was totally ignored by a load of scary huns who agreed with her [shudder] and I did myself no favours by calling her a racist gitwizard.

I like the posters, its the mods and their warped rules! Loads of top birds on there! That's why i end up going back.

I got kicked off for calling someone a fucking bitch on a child benefit thread. In my defence she was being :)

Luckily I found mumsnet, much better. And I can understand posts because they are written in English, not much text speak and no annoying tickers.

Basically, they're all slagging us off!

I was banned for something stupid disagreeing with a racist so after that i went back a few times to debate argue just for the hell of it.

One thing i hate is the big palaver of warnings in thread titles warning contains very distressing content dont read if you're fucking pathetic sensitive

I knew quite a few people who use NM and they love it - I think they'd run a mile from MN tbh -, being able to swear ( especially using the 'C' word) isn't everyones cup of tea - I have looked on NM and thought the threads were pretty much the same as the ones you get on here - some of them word for word! - I think it's just a bit brighter and a little quieter -

I cant even look at what is going on, might log in with the old mans name Mwah ha ha ha ha

Even some of the NM's (albeit, a small minority) were moaning about the swear filters on there, and how they have to try and work out the words that are !!!
