ChampersPampers · 08/05/2011 11:43

I often meet people who are convinced she was 'bumped off'.
Wondered if it's only small percentage of peoples view or do alot of people believe this so called murder to be true?

No. Can famous people not have accidents? Were there any signs to show that she was physically forced not to wear a seatbelt? Yabu.

TotemPole · 08/05/2011 16:08

I'd love to hear why it's "impossible" to take off from the moon.

It's because Elvis, Marilyn & Nessie sabotaged the mission and stole the rocket engine from the lunar module. Wink

florencedougal · 08/05/2011 16:14

I probably know more about the situation surrounding the crash than most or anyone else who will post on this thread. I won't say why or how, but in answer to the thread title, I have to say IMO, it's a definite no.

awww bless lol

sleepingsowell · 08/05/2011 16:22

"Her brother is a real piece of work. Laughed whilst watching the BBC coverage of the wedding. Camera panned in to Earl Spencer. One presenter said, 'And is that his new wife with him?' The other quipped, 'All his wives are new.'" hahaha Expat that is brilliant Grin

amothersplaceisinthewrong · 08/05/2011 16:23

No, but I do think Madeleine McCann might have been.

TheCoalitionNeedsYou · 08/05/2011 16:34

It was the lizards. Or the Illuminanti.

So the Jews basically. As ususal.

BradfordMum · 08/05/2011 16:35

She's not dead.
She's living in a drug induced coma at a Swiss Sanitorium.

TheCoalitionNeedsYou · 08/05/2011 16:42

The gravity on the Moon is a sixth that of Earths, so it is six times easier to take off from the Moon. The absence of air makes this a lot easier as there is no air resistance.

MigratingCoconuts · 08/05/2011 16:46

Coalition, I am sure there is really no need to explain something as basic as that to fabbychic when she is clearly an expert in the basic engineering of space craft Wink

ShowMeTheMonet · 08/05/2011 16:47

FabbyChic has said some very weird things today. Very odd Confused

TheCoalitionNeedsYou · 08/05/2011 16:53

Obviously I was just entering a point of information into the record. It's because all cheese isn't very dense you see.

expatinscotland · 08/05/2011 16:54

Her wedding dress belongs to William and Harry. They were the chief beneficiaries, obviously, of her death and each draws £337,000/pa from the trust fund she set up for them in her will.

MigratingCoconuts · 08/05/2011 17:01

However, I didn't know that about the density of cheese! That explains everything!

oohlaalaa · 08/05/2011 17:07

re conspiracy theories I think the moonlanding was a fake for the cold war, and that David Kelly was murdered.

I do not think that Princess Diana was killed.

My mum on the other hand believes that Di was killed, and that the americans were behind 9/11.

LondonMother · 08/05/2011 17:42

Can anyone explain to me in words of one syllable why the Americans should have been behind 9/11? To me this has always seemed one of the most preposterous conspiracy theories I've ever heard and I really would like to know what makes it credible to others. Apart from anything else, how many thousands of people would have had to be in on the secret? How could it not have leaked?

And as for Diana, of course she wasn't murdered. As so many others have said, seatbelt, drunk driver, paparazzi.

ChampersPampers · 08/05/2011 17:43

Just read all the pages.Wow!So many things I never knew(about the newspapers slagging her off and being taken off shelves early sunday morning, etc etc) has been said on this thread.

Thankyou.

PS I sorry for such a yawn inducing thread.Had a hangover. Please forgive me.

I believe the theory is that it provided a reason to go into the middle east and take over - and therefore get their hands on the oil.

and the world is run by giant lizards, elvis works in a chip shop in dagenham and the cream cake and fudge diet will make you lose 10 stone in 4 days.

HecateQueenOfTheNight · 08/05/2011 17:48

We are playing Totally Stupid Things Idiots Believe, are we not? Grin

fatlazymummy · 08/05/2011 17:50

No I don't believe she was murdered. That's because I have common sense. I am also able to accept that death may come at any moment ,for all of us. Even rich princesses wearing designer clothes aren't immune.

beesimo · 08/05/2011 17:56

DS2 has just told me Edward 2 King of England was killed in 1327 by having a red hot poker up his bum!

It was done by his usurpers so as to leave no immediately visible marks on the body!

Nothing new under the sun folks

Fatlazymummy

I may not of been there myself but my Mams hairdressers daughter in laws second cousin was so I know it is true for a fact!

scottishmummy · 08/05/2011 18:15

lol thats the same as i know a woman who knows a man who once sat next to a man on a bus who knew diana cousin's dog walker who heard a whisper

oh hoo so it must be true then, given that trail of authenticity the hairdresser and a cousin

FakePlasticTrees · 08/05/2011 18:19

I've been thinking about this some more, and I'm sure a lot of the "she must have been murdered" views are because she lived such an unusual, exciting life, so to die in such a mundane way (speeding, drunk driver) doesn't seem to fit with the rest of her life, it doesn't 'match' the rest of the Diana story, so a more fitting, 'hollywood' ended has to be found.
