Come hither all those who haven't found their place on mumsnet, have scrapped in Aibu or crossed words in chat. The buddy bench shalt not judge.

The buddy bench will hand out wine and cakes, it will join you on your scoffathons getting pissed

All those who sit on the bench, will have their sins erased and be given a warm welcome and cheerful chat from CheerfulYank, gomummy, tired mum, Elmo, AF, HE, Cheesey and far, far too many more to mention.

Welcome to the buddy bench, we look forward to meeting you all Smile

Oh and don't forget, last one to leave polishes bench and locks up!

I wanted to know, hopefully poppy will stay in the running, i like it aswell, and i dont know any others with that name, still working on boys names, i cant believe its come round this quick

CheerfulYank · 02/02/2011 16:17

I want the recipes too! And I will add a hair pic as soon as I can.

Family day sounds delightful...I think I will let them know at work that I'm actually of Canadian descent and will sue them if they don't let me have the day off with pay, as it is part of my national and cultural heritage. Great idea, right?! Actually I do feel slightly Canadian as I have been watching the DVDs of Emily of New Moon obsessively. They can't hold a candle to the book IMO but they're addicting.

TIREDMUM! That is so so close! I'm so excited, I can't wait to see if it's a he-bump or a she-bump! :o How are you feeling?

CheerfulYank · 02/02/2011 16:19

If you wanted to stick with the J's, I've actually started to like Justin quite a bit. Has that been suggested? :)

CheerfulYank · 02/02/2011 16:42

Tell him it means righteous and just. :) And there was a St. Justin who sounds pretty cool...of course you've got to deal with the Justin Bieber nonsense. Ick!

Tiredmumno1 · 02/02/2011 16:44

Lol cheerful i think thats what put him off, we are not bieber fans in this house Grin

gomummygo · 02/02/2011 17:09

Oooh Tiredmum! That is so soon, I am so excited!!! :) Hope you will have a way to update us as soon as you can after baby comes (of course this will be your first concern, lol!) Grin

I still want to know if you have a feeling of what baby's sex is yet?

Off to send PMs of recipes to all who have requested!

Tiredmumno1 · 02/02/2011 17:23

Grin gomummy i shall update the bench as soon as i can obviously this will be my priority of course.

Dh thinks a girl, but i think he is basing that theory on the fact that with the boys i went bigger all around, this time its just at the front, and he says its because i havent had many probs this time, i am still not sure

Cant wait for recipes

valiumredhead · 02/02/2011 17:30

Ooooooooo how exciting tiredmum Grin will you be knocked out completely or an epidural?

gomummygo · 02/02/2011 18:12

gomummygo · 02/02/2011 18:17

Good plan Cheerful, but do you not already get a holiday? Had to go and read about where does/doesn't have family day and just read online that our Family Day is also holiday in the US called President's Day? Or did I get that wrong? Blush

Tiredmumno1 · 02/02/2011 18:59

Valium i will be completely knocked out, i am a wimp lol

Nomummyno Grin never ever would i have a needle in my back

elmofan · 02/02/2011 18:59

I think you are going to have a girl too tiredmum Smile

Oooh its getting very exciting now, do you have your bag packed yet?

Tiredmumno1 · 02/02/2011 19:05

Now i need to know your reasons why you think i am having a girl elmo Smile

Not packed yet, i know i am disorganised, i want to get a new dressing gown, and have to get some jogging bottoms for after, i wont be able to wear my jeans for a while

elmofan · 02/02/2011 19:15

Oh & get BIG knickers [not very sexy looking but they will need to pull up high enough to go over the scar ]
I just have a feeling buba is a girl & i am usually right but not always out of all my family & friends so far ive only been wrong twice
Smile & besides she's very ladylike already hiding her modesty in the scans Grin

gomummygo · 02/02/2011 20:22

Tiredmum, have you been listening to DS somehow? LOL @ Nomummyno!

Yes yes yes to BIG knickers to go over scar, good advice from Elmo. Wish someone had told me that! Highwaisted foldover yoga pants also v. helpful afterwards.

FWIW I also think your DC3 will be a girl. I have no idea why. :)

Tiredmumno1 · 02/02/2011 20:37

Lol you 2, i will be on the hunt for big knickers, ssshhh dont tell anyone Grin

We still need to get the pram, just dont know where to look, i think i have already searched everywhere online, and nothing has jumped out at me.

Lol elmo at the modesty comment

I thought nomummyno is pretty good, so well done to ds when he uses it
Grin

Well you have just over 4 weeks to wait and see if you are right Smile

elmofan · 02/02/2011 20:45

Smile Dh used to call my BIG knickers "Homer jocks" [from the simpsons] Hmm granted they were not attractive but they did the job at the time Grin

gomummygo · 02/02/2011 20:45

HA Thanks a lot Tiredmum, don't encourage him! Last night he wolfed down his food at almost the speed of light and I asked him "Did you like your dinner?" He said "No Mummy No! It was not delicious! Is there any more please?" DH and I laughed so hard! Grin
