Come hither all those who haven't found their place on mumsnet, have scrapped in Aibu or crossed words in chat. The buddy bench shalt not judge.

The buddy bench will hand out wine and cakes, it will join you on your scoffathons getting pissed

All those who sit on the bench, will have their sins erased and be given a warm welcome and cheerful chat from CheerfulYank, gomummy, tired mum, Elmo, AF, HE, Cheesey and far, far too many more to mention.

Welcome to the buddy bench, we look forward to meeting you all Smile

Oh and don't forget, last one to leave polishes bench and locks up!

I know, I squeezed the breath out of DS this morning and played with him as much as he wanted. :(

I would like to do something, but what?

elmofan · 19/03/2011 16:34

I know its so so sad Sad

God help them .
I am going to light a candle at mass tomorrow morning for their little ds Sad don't know what else to do .

valiumredhead · 19/03/2011 16:40

Really shocking isn't it? So sad Sad

CheerfulYank · 19/03/2011 16:57

I mentioned on the thread that I would light a candle in my window tonight.

When DS asked why I was crying I told him (a little bit only, he's not quite four) and he said, "The little boy has gone to God." :( I really hope so...

elmofan · 19/03/2011 17:25

Aww bless your ds cheerful, its so hard to explain to little ones without
frightening them. I too hope your ds is right Sad

It is shocking valium especially as he was seemingly
perking up a little bit then this happens.

gomummygo · 19/03/2011 21:47

It is so very sad. :( Another candle will be here tonight, along with a prayer for their poor family, I cannot imagine what they must be going through.

It was 5 your temp here today! Hurrah! But apparently that blizzard is headed our way gomummy. :(

DH is going to Las Vegas for a week (leaving tomorrow) and I don't know what I'll do if DS and I are stuck inside for days and days. Ugh!

gomummygo · 22/03/2011 00:55

Re-sent it Tea, hope it arrives this time. Will make you v. appreciative of hanging clothes out already! :)

Cheerful I am so terribly Envy of your DH! We got married at the Bellagio.

Our blizzard has finally left, hope it's not headed for you, it was the really messy wet snow that makes the roads a wreck. Being stuck inside does equate to copious amounts of baking though! Grin

valiumredhead · 22/03/2011 08:33

Morning :)

Urghhhhh just had a mummy dilemma , ds came home from school yesterday feeling sick and didn't eat tea. Slept all night AND ate breakfast but was a bit teary and said he felt rotten. So, I gave him Calpol and wrote in his planner that I would come and get him if if got worse. He's had SO much time off since starting this new school, I felt I had to 'push' him a bit. He went off quite happily when his mate called for him this morning.

The school will ring won't they,if he's still bad? Sad

elmofan · 22/03/2011 09:47

Morning all Smile

Ahh valium you poor thing , i hate that feeling of uncertainty but you did the right thing , try relax & have a nice Brew , i'm sure the school will phone you if he is still feeling sick .

gomummy Shock at you still having snow storms , wish spring would hurry up & kick in for you x

valiumredhead · 22/03/2011 09:54

You're right, I'm over it now elmo Grin and they haven't phoned yet so , so far so good!

It was meant to be Spring like here but I have freezing feet!!!

elmofan · 22/03/2011 11:35

valiumredhead · 22/03/2011 16:32
