Come hither all those who haven't found their place on mumsnet, have scrapped in Aibu or crossed words in chat. The buddy bench shalt not judge.

The buddy bench will hand out wine and cakes, it will join you on your scoffathons getting pissed

All those who sit on the bench, will have their sins erased and be given a warm welcome and cheerful chat from CheerfulYank, gomummy, tired mum, Elmo, AF, HE, Cheesey and far, far too many more to mention.

Welcome to the buddy bench, we look forward to meeting you all Smile

Oh and don't forget, last one to leave polishes bench and locks up!

Tiredmumno1 · 03/03/2011 10:18

Grin elmo, sorry for getting your hopes up, i am glad its calmed down a bit

I am still laughing at the bag fiasco, poor dh lol. I need to speak to hosp, and see if mrsa results are back, will mention that my midwife said baby was breech on tuesday and see what they advise

elmofan · 03/03/2011 10:22

Lol i can just imagine your poor dh running around like
a headless chicken Grin bless him.
Let us know what the midwife says x she might suggest
Going in sooner for c-section rather than letting you go into
labour. Try rest up today as much as possible xx

gomummygo · 03/03/2011 13:06

Morning all! :)

Oooh I miss everything with this time difference!

Grin

Yes Tiredmum, lots of rest for you, drink your water, we are all thinking of you!

Tiredmumno1 · 03/03/2011 20:12

Hi gomummy, i actually thought you may have been about when i typed that last night Grin

Right i spoke to the midwife the section is staying booked for monday, but if anything happens before then i will have to call them and go in Smile

elmofan · 03/03/2011 20:59

Aw thats good tiredmum, now baby needs to be good & stay put until monday Smile

CheerfulYank · 04/03/2011 02:58

It's actually 38 ABOVE here, which I think is negative 2 your temp? It feels ammmmmmmaaaaaazzzziinnnnggg...

Gomummy, want to come help me organize my house? I'm about three days away from being on Hoarders, I swear! :( I decided I needed to be more organized and neat so I pulled...every...bloody...thing...out of every drawer and cupboard. It was a mistake, a terrible tragic mistake.

How is DS elmo ? He sounds like such a marvelous, brave boy. I'd like to throttle the other little shit kid.

I can't wait tiredmum ! I can't wait! :o

gomummygo · 04/03/2011 13:05

Yes yes yes Cheerful! It is quite sad how excited that would make me! Blush

Can highly recommend Flylady though. Much of it sounds a bit nuts but a lot of it really works. Like right now with your stuff all pulled out - three bins - "give away, throw away, put away" - chuck everything into the appropriate bin and don't worry about it for now until it's all sorted. Then run like a crazy person putting it all away/give away bag in car, garbage thrown out immediately before you get a chance to change your mind about anything! LOL, ok it really does sound mad when written down but it is great.

(One of the rules is that when decluttering you can't take out more than you can put back in 15 minutes I think! Grin)

Envy @ your -2 weather Cheerful!

Ok so it is now something like 100 hours until TiredmumDC3!!!!! Yay!!!

valiumredhead · 04/03/2011 17:36

Evening all :)

Dentist was fine yesterday and the new one is very gentle - phew!!!!

we went out early. At 6.30pm. So we left dc's up to spend time

elmofan · 05/03/2011 13:42

[hugs] Tiredmum its only natural you will feel nervous but try not to think about the c-section & focus on holding dc3 for the first time Smile
Are you all set ?
We will all be glued to this bench waiting for news on Monday you know Grin

valiumredhead · 05/03/2011 13:46

Tiredmumno1 · 05/03/2011 13:50

I guessed you would all be watching the thread on monday, i wont know til then if its morning or afternoon

Lol valium, i have the funniest image in my head of you running round in circles with towels and hot water Grin

elmofan · 05/03/2011 14:00

Can i pop a tea bag into your hot water valium ? all your running around is making me thirsty Grin

valiumredhead · 05/03/2011 14:02

Have you had a section before Tired?

Tiredmumno1 · 05/03/2011 14:04

Grin elmo, if you pinch the hot water, make sure i get a tea out of it aswell Grin

Nothing much planned here this weekend, a bit of shopping and relaxation

You all must have something more exciting to do Smile

Tiredmumno1 · 05/03/2011 14:06

I had an emergency c-sect for ds2 valium

elmofan · 05/03/2011 14:09

Hands Brew all round Smile

I'm just chilling out here today as dh is working , tomorrow we have a rehearsal mass to go to for ds's confirmation & then back to his school for a lecture get together .
Monday i am doing nothing but sitting on this bench waiting for news Grin

valiumredhead · 05/03/2011 14:11

Mine was planned as in I knew I would have one eventually but not sure when. I was told on the day at about 8 am and the section was at about 2pm ish.

Apart from being terrified that me and ds were going to cark it as I was so ill and ds was only 32 weeks - it was VERY calm and I can imagine that under normal circumstances it would be fine.

And you get to meet your baby - hooray!!!!! :)

Tiredmumno1 · 05/03/2011 14:18

Thanks for the Brew elmo, that sounds like a lovely day planned for tomorrow, i hope it goes well.

I think the worst part will be getting to the hospital valium, and just that initial waiting, its about time i get to see my baby Grin

gomummygo · 05/03/2011 18:28

Not much here, we are getting another massive snowstorm and are totally snowed in. Had plans but apparently they were not to be.

Tiredmum I have actually been considering getting up earlier on Monday just to get in the loop with this thread! Grin I also had an emergency C, I bet your big day will be much more calm as it is planned. I agree though that it is about time that we you get to see your baby! Grin

Elmo and Valium, may I please have a tea too? :)
