Come hither all those who haven't found their place on mumsnet, have scrapped in Aibu or crossed words in chat. The buddy bench shalt not judge.

The buddy bench will hand out wine and cakes, it will join you on your scoffathons getting pissed

All those who sit on the bench, will have their sins erased and be given a warm welcome and cheerful chat from CheerfulYank, gomummy, tired mum, Elmo, AF, HE, Cheesey and far, far too many more to mention.

Welcome to the buddy bench, we look forward to meeting you all Smile

Oh and don't forget, last one to leave polishes bench and locks up!

There are lots of soups and casseroles that can be frozen...maybe you could just google it? Poor man. :(

Happy Valentine's day! I had a crazy weekend; every year I do this 50 hour radio trivia competition with a group of friends. We sleep every now and then in shifts but over all it's just an over-caffeinated good time. :) I'm positively exhausted today, and I didn't plan things out very well so I was racing around this a.m. trying to get DS' Valentine treats ready for his daycare party.

I remember when I was young and wanted to take a vacation where I went out every night and laid on the beach all day. These days I just want to go on a vacation to a hotel room with a huge bed that I snuggle into and basically have a coma for a week. :o

Hope dd's ear is better Elmo!

Wonders what this "iron" is that everyone speaks of? Some sort of cultural difference, perhaps... :o

namechange100 · 14/02/2011 15:12

candleshoe · 14/02/2011 21:16

candleshoe · 14/02/2011 22:15

I'm fine but am spending Valentines Night taking cups of tea to DH who is revising for a exam tomorrow!

You well?

gomummygo · 14/02/2011 22:59

Blush Thanks for the kind words, but really I'm not. Have just had a lot of experience with people who are old and alone, and have developed a soft spot for them. Anyhow Great Minds and all that Elmo, I have decided on a lasagna and requested DH to pick up some of those little individual foil containers on the way home that can be frozen, then heated in the same pan, iykwim?

Welcome Namechange, and Hello Candle! :)

I'm with you Cheerful, think this crazy "ironing" thing must not have made its way to North America yet, lol! Grin Hope you are sleeping well!

Poor DD, Elmo. Both ears is just so :(. Hope the antibiotics have kicked in a little by now.

Not long now Tiredmum! How are you feeling? Are your DSs getting excited?

candleshoe · 14/02/2011 23:14

What's 'Downy Wrinkle Release' it really sounds like a product I could support in a big way!?

gomummygo · 14/02/2011 23:26

Oh Candle it is a wonderful product. It's a spray, bottle looks sort of like Febreze. Spray on a couple of shots, give a little tug on the fabric, let it hang for a minute or two and voila! Even DH, who is incredibly particular about his clothes, has accepted it for all but his work shirts! Modern miracle, I tell ya... Grin

candleshoe · 14/02/2011 23:27

Where oh where can I buy a barrel of it?

Tiredmumno1 · 15/02/2011 10:46

I am ok thanks candle, just tired Grin

Ooo i want the new spray aswell gomummy Grin

I know not long now, the boys dont realise how soon it is, bless them Smile

I am a bit worried about anything happening before the 7th

gomummygo · 15/02/2011 13:26

LOL, Candle, I get it at Walmart (American store, I naievely don't know if it is over there Blush), but I imagine it must be elsewhere too where laundry products are sold? linky

Are you having any signs of anything happening Tiredmum? Hope you are taking it easy.

CheerfulYank · 15/02/2011 17:07

Yes, yes! I do love the Downy Wrinkle Release. Between that and Febreeze I don't have to actually do laundry as much. Blush I put it down to being environmental really, because I use so much less water. :o

I'm the same gomummy (of course), I can't bear to think of people being old and alone. It breaks my heart!

gomummygo · 15/02/2011 18:09

Oh yes Cheerful, Febreze is my friend. Also love the car-febreze, the bathroom cleaner with febreze, and the laundry detergent with febreze in it. Blush My DH thinks I have a problem. Grin

Tiredmumno1 · 15/02/2011 18:16
