Come hither all those who haven't found their place on mumsnet, have scrapped in Aibu or crossed words in chat. The buddy bench shalt not judge.

The buddy bench will hand out wine and cakes, it will join you on your scoffathons getting pissed

All those who sit on the bench, will have their sins erased and be given a warm welcome and cheerful chat from CheerfulYank, gomummy, tired mum, Elmo, AF, HE, Cheesey and far, far too many more to mention.

Welcome to the buddy bench, we look forward to meeting you all Smile

Oh and don't forget, last one to leave polishes bench and locks up!

elmofan · 15/02/2011 20:02

Tiredmum what you are dreading is exactly what happened to me on dd. I was booked in for a cs but on new yrs eve [4weeks early] my waters broke at home.
Smile all worked out in the end & i still had my cs.
Try noy to worry too much xx & maybe talk to your gp or the hospital & see if they can put your mind at rest

gomummy good idea < runs after pooch armed with fabreeze> Grin

gomummygo · 15/02/2011 22:01

Night Tea! Bed at 9:15 would be lovely actually. Probably not the best plan for me though as DS would still be awake, lol! I think Cheerful's sleep-holiday idea is an excellent plan.

Think I was packed while we were still TTC Blush

Grin Can't help it, it's my Monica-ness!

elmofan · 15/02/2011 22:01

We will be pacing up & down on the bench until you / dh posts .

Tea lovely hows things ?

gomummygo · 16/02/2011 18:01

Hello lovely benchers! :)

Tea - We head up at 8:30 and do the routine, but he will usually sing to himself or discuss his day for almost an hour. He gets up around 6 or so (used to be 7 but he's up and singing about 6:10 now!) and hasn't napped for ages.

CheerfulYank · 16/02/2011 18:15

I'm too tried to post meaningfully too...just has a go-round with the student I work with. Blech!

Everytime I read something about the harmful chemicals in febreeze I just ignore it...I really don't think I could be without it! :) (My dog smells too...his name is Brinkley but his pet name is Stinkley if that tells you anything!)

I'm so excited for you Tiredmum! I will expect constant intermittant posts on The Day. :o

elmofan · 16/02/2011 18:31

lol cheerful so your dog has the smell factor too eh Grin

Teaandcakeplease · 16/02/2011 19:54

DD is a horror if she doesn't get 12 hrs sleep a night. Your DS sounds like a dream.

Long day today, soo tired, just made some brownies from this website blog.londonplains.com/category/brownie/ they are to die for. FACT.

I'm ok here just wishing the Winter away and have a son in a bed now who keeps sneaking into mine at night for the last 2 weeks. I think it's cute but it's also a bad habit when he's always slept well in his own cot until now. Also his sister gets jealous as I do not allow her in my bed everynight, unless she's ill or had a bad dream. Need a Brew

candleshoe · 16/02/2011 19:55

Stinkley should meet my Mum's cat called Thomas but known as 'fish breath' Wink

elmofan · 16/02/2011 20:33

Ooh dd used to do that to us. we would wake up in the morning & find her in the middle of our bed & she got very sneaky doing it as she knew i am a light sleeper Grin

just keep returning him to his own bed tea he will soon give up & stay there Smile

Lol
