Come hither all those who haven't found their place on mumsnet, have scrapped in Aibu or crossed words in chat. The buddy bench shalt not judge.

The buddy bench will hand out wine and cakes, it will join you on your scoffathons getting pissed

All those who sit on the bench, will have their sins erased and be given a warm welcome and cheerful chat from CheerfulYank, gomummy, tired mum, Elmo, AF, HE, Cheesey and far, far too many more to mention.

Welcome to the buddy bench, we look forward to meeting you all Smile

Oh and don't forget, last one to leave polishes bench and locks up!

Welcome Reinitinear, we're a friendly bunch on the bench! :)

Hello Tea! How are you these days?

That would be fun Elmo. I could have gone over to Ireland a couple of years ago but missed the trip due to work commitments at the time. Circs have changed though, so hopefully Cheerful's heist pans out... Grin

valiumredhead · 12/02/2011 14:51

purpleknittingmum · 12/02/2011 20:02

not too bad, the same old problems lurking about, far too trivial but troublesome all the same!

elmofan · 12/02/2011 20:09

Do you want to talk about it purple? maybe we can help?

CheerfulYank · 12/02/2011 20:12

Trivial problems can be the worst, because sometimes there's no way forward and they just nag at you. Spill! We can help :)

Tiredmumno1 · 12/02/2011 20:17

Yup we are good listeners Smile

purpleknittingmum · 12/02/2011 20:21

Just the joys of having a stroppy teenager!

Poor old valium was getting lots of texts the other night, just going round in circles with her, harder to deal with when I didn't behave like this myself

valiumredhead · 12/02/2011 20:27

Has she got a telly in her room purple? Can you make her room a bit 'bedsitty'? I remember having a telly in my room at that age - I felt SO independent, and looking back I am sure it was so mum and me didn't have to spend so much time glaring at each other together Wink

elmofan · 12/02/2011 20:30

Oh you have my sympathy. Ds is 12 & we call him kevin [from harry enfields program] the mood swings are dreadful & everything we ask him to do turns into an arguement.

How old is your dc?
