Baby number 4 for her and Jamie

OP posts:
AitchTwoOhOneOh · 08/03/2010 09:38

yep, which is why i said 'marry'.

zippyzapper · 08/03/2010 09:42

she appears lovely, so does he, they make lovely babies.

His raising of food issues is positive - i liked her book.

good for them

BattyKoda · 08/03/2010 09:45

Cor.. your all a bit bitter about this aren't you? What's your problem?!

Aitch - I can see your jealous of their wealth, is that the same for the rest of you?

AitchTwoOhOneOh · 08/03/2010 09:58

excuse me battykoda? do you want to read my posts again and then come back to apologise?

BattyKoda · 08/03/2010 10:32

Having the sense to marry someone that was rich?

joster · 08/03/2010 10:42

He's a peach, she is not, surly and "important". Whenever I see her with the kids (usually she is NOT with the kids.. read into that what you want) she looks bored and p*ssed off. Why she wants another one then, I don't know, but yes, suspect they are hoping for a boy..

AitchTwoOhOneOh · 08/03/2010 10:46

good for her, yes. according to her husband all she has ever wanted to do was be a mother, so she's had the smarts to marry someone who can finance that. i wish i'd had the same foresight. plus i think it's rather brave and admirable these days to be completely clear that you really 'only' want to be a mum.

you did see that i already said that i like her, didn't you? him not so much, but i have met and interviewed him so i'm not basing that opinion on daft tittle-tattle.

so piss off with you're accusations of jealousy, i was sticking up for her. i don't know why so many people on here have it in for them and i don't appreciate being lumped in with them when she's always seemed perfectly nice to me.

BattyKoda · 08/03/2010 10:47

Are you their neighbour joster?

Sorry Aitch if I took that the wrong way.

AitchTwoOhOneOh · 08/03/2010 10:48

you did indeed.

BattyKoda · 08/03/2010 10:49

Sorry was reading it as a negative remark, like all the others!

AitchTwoOhOneOh · 08/03/2010 10:51

i have no idea why everyone's so negative about them, they seem perfectly nice to me (and so did he until i met him. he's a big lad, really surprisingly HUGE for someone on the telly).

BattyKoda · 08/03/2010 11:03

just saw your other post too Aitch, apologies again, TBH I only saw your comment about the marry rich thing.

I think joster can shed a bit more light on why they've got this reaction, she sounds like shes quite close to them. Are you Jamie's mum joster??

Greensleeves · 08/03/2010 11:10

I reckon if it's a boy they will call it Oliver

Olly Olly Oxenfreeeeeeeeeeeeee for short

joster · 08/03/2010 12:01

No, sadly not Jamie's mum. If I were, I'd be pretty pleased with myself and too busy helping my kids count their money to worry whether it was a boy or a girl - her other child is also phenomenally wealthy... when Anna got a Bentley convertible, guess what, not to be outdone, Jools went straight out and got her very own one. SOOOO practical with 3.5 kids. Hmm. Anyway. I'm NOT jealous (really, I'm actually not) just a bit sad for her that despite all the trappings she is still so miz and up herself.

When he did that recent show, was it a Christmas with the Family or something?? didn't you see her practically rolling her eyes in boredom and just so lacklustre. Not even a smile for two minutes to her husband's adoring public. Just too much like hard work and it's all SOOOOOO dull for her. Wheeled out, forced half smirk and off as fast as she could

Shame, he is just so down to earth, kind of a bit of a plonker really in the nicest possible way! Quite happy to send himself up, but don't be fooled - the Essex accent is milked somewhat - they just don't talk like that around here REALLY!!!!! But hey ho, he can get away with it.

Married a seriously rich city boy. They are NICE people.

NormaSknockers · 08/03/2010 12:14

Congrats to them, I'm sure they're just happy having another baby to add to their gorgeous brood regardless of the sex.

Not sure why there's so much negativity about them....

Ivykaty44 · 08/03/2010 12:22

Leafey Willow for a boy

Sunray Snow for a boy

Littel Drops for a girl

BattyKoda · 08/03/2010 12:47

Do you actually know them joster?

Poohbearsmom · 08/03/2010 14:21

What norma said i too have only ever wanted to be a mother and am lucky to be so, best of luck to them

FabIsDoingPrettyWell · 08/03/2010 14:35

I doubt for a minute joster can shed any light on why they have this reaction .

They wanted another baby and everyone is making it sound such a terrible thing that Jamie has expressed a preference for a son. I am sure there would be uproar if similar posts were written towards mumsnetters who have posted disappointment after having a scan and it isn't the gender they wanted .

zippyzapper · 08/03/2010 15:08

Joster is a big meanie .... yukky

AitchTwoOhOneOh · 08/03/2010 16:55

i thought she was hilarious on that christmas show, esp when he said 'oh poppy's nine months' and she turned her eyes heavenwards and said 'it's thirteen months, jay'. lol.
