I wouldn't believe anything about him being found if it's coming from social media, there's far too many sick people who think it's funny to say stuff like that.

Sending hope and prayers that he is found safe and unhurt poor parents must be beside themselves 😞

And how would it help anyway? If the alert was constantly going off no one would take any notice of it, like car alarms.
I hope he is found safe and well soon. I can't imagine how his poor family must be feeling. My sympathies are with them .

I live in Brantham. The media said there was over 100 volunteers looking but honestly it was more like 1000. So so many people. My husband was on hands and knees looking through brambles. The issue is there’s so many brambles and shrubs he could have crawled and hidden in. His dad has posted this morning saying he still has not been found. The community are all rallying round including a local coffee cart who parked up last night to give squash and coffees to searchers. Just feeding my baby then going to search this morning.

The kid ran off. The grandad might not have been watching him for 30 seconds - it’s a mistake we all made as humans/parents that’s why I don’t blame them or judge them.i would guess most of our kids have rolled off the bed or fell off a chair or touched something hot at some point in 18 years or more of parenting.

She asked people to avoid the village centre, suggesting people go further afield to nearby villages of East Bergholt and Manningtree and working their way back"

Just to add we’ve now been asked to widen our searches and Noah’s dad has said the police are confident the high risk areas (especially decoy pond, which is a huge pond) are clear. There were many people searching the pond last night in wetsuits, kayaks etc.

I used to use tractive for my cat, it’s a tracker attached to her collar, then I had an app that could see where she and where she had been. I stopped using it as no longer needed it as she just wonders round the woods and nearby streets near our house, but it was really useful. It’s similar to an AirTag I guess, but yeah something like that for kids would be useful!

There’s kids smart watches that offer GPS tracking, if he’s found or for any siblings I’m sure they will be constantly wearing one whenever leaving the house. There’s options out there.

Well you should. There are people going round saying he's been found when he hasn't. Just because your saw it on FB does not make it true.

You can buy little wrist straps that you fasten the air tag into. We bought them when we took the kids to the Grand Prix, just in case.

Do you have one on your grandchild at all times? I guess not. I suppose if he goes missing at least you'll be able to find his teddy.

He ran off, his grandad gave chase and fell over. By the time he'd got back up the boy was out of sight.

Cut the tongue of her shoe and slide it inside, then glue up the tongue again..Or in the hem of her coat, for the autumn/winter (you'll need to change the battery by the next heatwave anyway).
