Influx of far-right posters

Why has the site suddenly had an influx of far-right posters? Almost overnight.

Is this a concerted campaign by the black shirts from Dover, Reform or Tommy ten names to infiltrate women's SM?

I’ve told you why I believe this rumour to have some legs. Unsurprisingly there’s nothing to substantiate it in the public domain.

Call it what you want and I don't personally know but I do know of a number of people who claim that the earth is flat and it's a persistent rumour. Who ever knows the truth about these things eh?

This is how misinformation and fake stories work: "I'm not saying it's true but I have heard that [insert bat shit crazy conspiracy theory]. I'm just saying that's what I heard and who knows the truth really eh?".

Well it's just my personal interpretation, but I view it as the posting of deliberate misinformation to scare monger people about right wing politics and politicians.

I honestly think there’s far too much suspicion and paranoia at the moment. Everyone has their tin foil face coverings on and it’s all Russian bots and Chinese spies.

No I absolutely do not think MN is complicit- it is simply a internet platform where individuals post on a wide variety of topics.

Unfortunately that does include individuals posting deliberate misinformation that then get very defensive when they are called for either lack of evidence or evidence to the contrary.

I think the inference was that Mumsnet was complicit for not removing the posts you took objection to? Or have I misunderstood?

But it's not just that is it? It's the vile hatred coming from predominantly the far right. It's NOT about protecting women and children it's about owning and controlling, calling anyone who says we are being played by people like Farage and Trump a leftie. It's the increasing hatred and comments that are abusive to anyone. Zia Yusuf is now saying just because you came legally doesn't mean you should be here. His parents came as immigrants. It's far far more than what you just claimed. It's dangerous propaganda and has been used throughout history.
