Has anyone else seen the news about what’s happening in Portsmouth this evening
A boat has arrived in Hampshire and the protesters from Dover are currently in the sea blocking passage with hundreds more on the quay blocking coaches waiting.

Then why are leftists like you constantly referring to home grown criminals. We have our own, yes. We don’t want yours, thank you. Keep them. Cut their hands off if need be. I’m happy for a strict Muslim country to hack a rapist’s dick off if necessary.

We can assert our laws over British passport holders and those non British passport holders can live in their country and have their country assert their laws over them. Easy peasy.

smallglassbottle · 08/09/2026 14:26

There were definitely women at the protests.

Basketcasebill · 08/09/2026 14:26

SevenYellowHammers · 08/09/2026 14:23

I’m sorry. I thought I made the distinction between the protesters and the thugs.

Why DO they wear masks if they are law abiding and believe they are right.

Some of them do jobs that they can’t afford to lose if they are identified.

I know some local authority workers who have attended protests and worn masks as they have seen things that go on for themselves but can’t speak up or have tried and been silenced. And police officers and members of the armed forces.

Some, yes, will be wrong uns just out for a fight. But there are people who have experienced things they don’t like in their professional lives and want a way for it to stop.

SevenYellowHammers · 08/09/2026 14:06

Well let’s be clear. MEN rape women. Sad but true. So we drown all men right?

Thought not.

So, we (and all other rich countries similarly effected) have to stand up and deal with problem. Such is our privilege.

It’s what we do well and should be proud of.

Nobody, not the police, the coastguards, the border control, the RNLI, the immigration officers, the aid workers, the lawyers and administration workers need the “help” of Tommo and his thugs.

Well let’s be more clear. SOME men are more statistically likely to be misogynistic due to their culture and upbringing and that misogyny can show itself in the need to control those who are considered ‘less than’, and that control can exhibit as sexual violence. We could print some leaflets to give out to that minority of men OR we could exercise border control and keep them away from those who are vulnerable statistically to misogynistic sexual violence.

Statistically MOST burglars are men. I COULD print a leaflet out to put in the hand of a burglar should my house be susceptible to a break in OR I could lock my doors and windows and get myself an alarm for the house 👍

Hate speech at rapists? You are literally calling for the protection of hurty words on a message board to protect men who rape. Unbelievable.

It’s not going to stop just because we want it to.
It’s starting to slow down due to the hard and difficult work going on. NOT assisted by a knife criminal kidnapper Tommy Robinson disciple shouting “Christ is king” whilst beating up young coppers. I guess he must have ignored the bit where Jesus said love your neighbour.

i guess he must have ignored the bit where Jesus said love your neighbour.

I didn’t want to sink to this level, but since you are, I’m not seeing a whole lot of Christian love from you to Rhiannon Whyte’s sister (who has lost her sister in the most horrible , shocking and unnecessary way) and the other men and women who demonstrated at Portsmouth.

The situation has improved under labour. Labour They don’t trumpet it enough. You’d prefer the women beating, fund swindling, climate destroying, NHS breaking, lying bastards Reform in I suppose? Farage hasn’t done enough damage with Brexit, incidentally causing the small boat crisis then! You’d want more? Dear Lord. I give up. People genuinely are getting a little bit sillier each day.

The fact that you assume people who are disagreeing with you must be Reform supporters suggests you are not well informed on politics in this country. Have you even heard Farage and Richard Tice’s statements denouncing the demionstrators? I expect you haven’t. Unbelievable.

Tbf I skip over a lot of that stuff as it’s unfounded. But yes it’s been in a few of the pp’s posts.

It also doesn’t resolve the problems.

ShitHoleDweller · 08/09/2026 14:36

I think we have to accept you are never going to change the minds of the ultraliberalists. They are happy to sacrifice the lives of some to satisfy their craving for globalisation. I actually think Climate change will come before this civilisation eats itself and sometimes I read this constant slop online arguing the rights of people to commit crimes and think bring it on. Let’s get this madness ended and then the flora and fauna can get back to replenishing the earth.

I find it unbelievable that you knew nothing about Rhiannon Whyte's horrific murder. And then to carelessly ask if something despicable happened to her.....right.

It suggest someone getting a very narrow range of UK news. Perhaps living in Guardianland or similar.

It also suggests someone completely uninterested in trying to understand the concerns and reality of the lives of people objecting to mass illegal immigration. It’s the fact that people with this attitude have been in power for so many years, ignoring and being completely oblivious to people’s concerns, that has lead us to where we are today.

I agree with that. I’m sorry I didn’t remember her name at all. I guess that’s why when Labour came to power they worked to phase out hotel use. Down by 21% but hindered by a backlog of a system that could well do without Tommo and his Thucking Thugs making extra work.

Or, and rereading your post this may be your thinking, possibly someone who knows exactly who Rhiannon Whyte was and was too embarrassed to admit they made that callous post about her sister whilst knowing this. Which in some ways might make more sense since @SevenYellowHammers has now re-backtracked to calling all the demonstrators including RW’s sister racists and thugs. Who knows? Both are awful.

ShitHoleDweller · 08/09/2026 14:43

Id also love to know why the Home Office is giving people who are being deported, including those who have committed crimes, £2000 loaded up on a credit card while they are on the flight travelling back to their country of origin. That was being discussed on Good Morning Britain and the government representative said that was for the Home Office to comment on. I know we’ve devalued our money by printing huge quantities of it, but the government is acting like it’s bloody Monopoly money! Straight to jail and £2000 when you pass Go.

Labour do talk about hotel use a lot, they fail to mention barracks eg Piddington.

Btw would you be happy with 1000 plus men waiting for asylum in barracks nearby to you?

They honestly believe globalisation means everyone sitting holding hands together singing happy rainbow coloured songs 😂

It's not. It's authoritarianism, degradation, poverty, no rights for women or minorities, legalised rape and wife beating, no more pretty villages, countryside or wildlife. Trashed historical buildings and national monuments, no democracy, no proper education or healthcare, constant surveillance, rubbish and polluted waterways (we're nearly there already), segregation of groups, visits during the night to be arrested, no freedom of movement or speech. I could go on.

BBC1, Radio 4, channel 4 news, news night, question time. Guardian when they give me free articles. GB News after the pub to take the piss if I’m honest, because they are truly shite. Not just in their views but their delivery and production values.

I thought we had no money though. Trillions in debt. Billions in interest payments alone. Where does the money come from? 🤔 is the government being paid by someone?

Start listening to intelligent people discussing the news and giving it historical context. Find someone who is neutral talking to an expert in their subject. Listen to debates where both sides get to discuss topical news at length and hash it out. Then you might get enough information to figure out your own views on things. On here I’m considered definitely right. In real life I’m right of centre. It’s just the Overton window has moved.

We can always find money for shit they want to spend money on. We just borrow more or print more.

I wonder when the IMF will step in. No more money for welfare or infrastructure. They'll look the other way for the migrants though. The country, fatally hobbled, will then find out what the future holds. I'm sure the Saudis will send some pennies to set up a new structure for the arrivals.

smallglassbottle · 08/09/2026 14:56

There'll be a shit load more to complain about than people wearing masks when this day comes. Stock up on artisan gin and hankies and prepare to find yourself living next door to some ghastly working class tradie.

You are also pretending that you think the demonstrators think they are “helping” when everyone knows that their purpose is DEMONSTRATING.

And the “drown all men” comment. Weird. No-one has suggested drowning anyone, rapist or not. So where that’s come from, I don’t know. Calm down.

What? Fantasy Island. I was clear about the difference between Tommo’s thugs and the protesters. Even the bonkers “vexed vicar”. I mean I expect they all got in the way but there is a distinction between them and the thugs beating people up.

But seriously, assuming you’re right and the thugs were nice guys who merely wanted to “protect are wimmin” and “love ma cuntry” .

Assuming they were right. What the flaming heck happens next?

Everyone jumps on the boat and goes back and drowns?

Everyone stands there? How long for?

The police admit defeat and let Tommo’s thugs push people into the sea?

All of them? Or the one’s that might look like rapists? Or not?

Then what happens? Everyone stands there a bit longer? Some people die of hypothermia?

The old girl in the canoe needs a pee? The bogus vicar rants a bit more racist twaddle?

So please, tell me what’s been achieved?

British people just look sillier and even more embarrassing. That’s what. And the rest of us cringe because they aren’t representing our beliefs and values. Like those bloody flags. So they get their freedom of speech while the rest of us shuffle our feet and wonder what happened to our wonderful country and how it got so mean spirited.
