Has anyone else seen the news about what’s happening in Portsmouth this evening
A boat has arrived in Hampshire and the protesters from Dover are currently in the sea blocking passage with hundreds more on the quay blocking coaches waiting.

How can they be rigorously checked when their documents are at the bottom of the English Channel? When a HO whistleblower has revealed that 99% of asylum claims are bogus? Do we cover the countryside in internment camps (preferable to giving them accommodation in communities, tbh, but no one wants to live next to them either). And what would be the purpose of detention anyway? What possible checks can be carried out on people determined to obfuscate their true identities!?

It’s not going to stop just because we want it to.
It’s starting to slow down due to the hard and difficult work going on. NOT assisted by a knife criminal kidnapper Tommy Robinson disciple shouting “Christ is king” whilst beating up young coppers. I guess he must have ignored the bit where Jesus said love your neighbour.

@SevenYellowHammers but the point about this pos is that he was caught and deportation attempted (which is not possible for “home-grown” rapists) BUT an immigration judge blocked it - so he was free to commit a worse crime.

So it would make sense to prevent migrant men from coming here in the first place, rather than us being at the mercy of some ridiculous judge.

Mass illegal immigration costs an awful lot more money, but strangely that doesn’t bother you. People have a right to demonstrate even if it costs money. The costs of not controlling immigration will be far greater in the long run than those of policing a few demonstrators, so that really doesn’t wash as a reasonable objection.

The protestors at Dover were, I believe, all masked. Many (most?) of the protesters at Portsmouth were not masked. You possibly need to change your news sources if you have been given the impression they were all masked.

Although, I’ve shown you photos of plenty of unmasked Portsmouth protesters so perhaps your news sources are irrelevant and you are just going to use “masked” as many times as you can in your posts like you constantly use “thugs” to denigrate and demonise people you disagree with, whether you’ve bothered to check if it’s true or not.

Please could you clarify whether you believe the young woman with a hair clip I posted, the lady in a canoe, the women sitting in the road and Cllr George Madgwick to be 1) thugs and b) masked?
