Has anyone else seen the news about what’s happening in Portsmouth this evening
A boat has arrived in Hampshire and the protesters from Dover are currently in the sea blocking passage with hundreds more on the quay blocking coaches waiting.

And the poster said it wouldn't be on the BBC. Except it was.. and in several other mainstream places.

So now you want to pick a hole about the headline?? It was all over the article too. Which at the time it was last night, was a developing story.

I’ve been looking at the headlines and newspapers that are historically right seem to be calling everyone far right and thug.

Appears the authorities want to deal with that Daniel fella more than the issue at hand.

Then you have people expressing shock at a ‘far right’ group in Germany seizing power.

The authorities silencing debate and using social media, schools, NHS and judiciary to silence people has let to lots of people having enough.

All by design. The boats had coaches waiting for them to take them to their accommodation.

No doubt they’ll spin this into some heroic act of saving key personnel from another data leak etc.

The government can still put reporting restrictions on mainstream press I think. One would assume they have throttled the story even if they haven’t quashed it completely. Don’t want putting ideas into people’s heads that protesting is the way forward!!!

My daughter goes to an all girls school in a small city that has had a huge Asian population for many years now. In fact, in her school which a super selective grammar, she’s in the minority as a white child (my mother is half Indian, so she also has Indian heritage).

There are many “asylum seekers” housed in that city. They cause huge issues. One being waiting at bus stops for the girls from the school, standing across the road from the school gates, taking photos and videos of them, making lewd comments.

Because many of families at the school are of Indian and Pakistani heritage, it’s almost funny to see people not knowing what to say when it’s the Indian and Pakistani parents of the girls (rightly) kicking off and screaming blue murder about their daughters not being safe in the city.

It’s like it doesn’t compute in people’s brains. They wouldn’t dare call the fathers standing outside the school to protect the girls gammons, uneducated council estate scum, wife beaters, or tell them to shut up and collect their benefits.

It’s actually quite fascinating to see.

The poster said reporting restrictions, that could be in respect of certain information they may deemed sensitive. The reporting of the actual boats being stopped can be reported but not all the information could be reported.

Also, look at the way it’s reported, I’ve seen ‘thug’ and ‘far right’ being used. It’s being reported to demonise the protesters!

Facists doing what they do. And the police just standing watching. If it was a retired vicar holding up a PA banner, or a JSO member they would have been in jail by now

Genuine refugees shouldn't be climbing into 'small' boats and heading across to our shores. If they are fleeing from persecution in their own countries (and some will be) then the first safe country they land in (which isn't the UK!) is where they should be 'processed'. If they really want to come to the UK because they have relatives here then they should give the authorities in the first safe country information that allows contact to determine that they are genuine and have a right to claim asylum in the UK. Just rocking up on our shores having already been in a safe country is not on.

So sorry to hear the girl don’t feel safe.

Thing is, we have the same concerns and fears as everyone else, we want a safe home, safety for our children, we don’t want them being leered at in their school uniform etc

historically most minorities are conservative but in the west we vote for left leaning parties because people bully and scare us into thinking the other side are racist.

look at how many black and Asian politicians are now on the right.

"Chapter 5 Regulation 33 is the one I think.

" 1 The master of a ship at sea which is in a position to be able to provide assistance, on receiving information from any source that persons are in distress at sea, is bound to proceed with all speed to their assistance, if possible informing them or the search and rescue service that the ship is doing so. This obligation to provide assistance applies regardless of the nationality or status of such persons or the circumstances in which they are found. If the ship receiving the distress alert is unable or, in the special circumstances of the case, considers it unreasonable or unnecessary to proceed to their assistance, the master must enter in the log-book the reason for failing to proceed to the assistance of the persons in distress, taking into account the recommendation of the Organization to inform the appropriate search and rescue service accordingly."

And there is UNCLOS too. Article 98.

"Article 98
Duty to render assistance
1. Every State shall require the master of a ship flying its flag, in so far as he can do so without serious danger to the ship, the crew or the passengers:
(a) to render assistance to any person found at sea in danger of being lost;
(b) to proceed with all possible speed to the rescue of persons in distress, if informed of their need of assistance, in so far as such action may reasonably be expected of him; (c) after a collision, to render assistance to the other ship, its crew and its passengers and, where possible, to inform the other ship of the name of his own ship, its port of registry and the nearest port at which it will call. 2. Every coastal State shall promote the establishment, operation and maintenance of an adequate and effective search and rescue service regarding safety on and over the sea and, where circumstances so require, by way of mutual regional arrangements cooperate with neighbouring States for this purpose.

Unfortunately this country is slowly waking up and white people and other minorities need to unite. The french police are allowing invasion giving boats and life jackets. Its been going on daily weekly unless folks get on X they wont know the hard hitting news.

Yes - I was on one of the Arday threads where it was intimated I was far right because I took a stance similar to some others who were right and called bigots etc. As soon as I said I wasn’t white, the labels stopped but only to me.

Because they would be able to submit a genuine asylum claim to a country closer to their country of origin, presumably.
