Has anyone else seen the news about what’s happening in Portsmouth this evening
A boat has arrived in Hampshire and the protesters from Dover are currently in the sea blocking passage with hundreds more on the quay blocking coaches waiting.

Noone wants rapey foreigners btw but noone wabts rapey white men or rapey members of the royal family either.

I believe boats should be stopped but I am very concerned about racistvremarks like "rapey foreigners" as it's a generalisation.
Some of the comments I saw about Notting Hill carnival were awful... " savages" among other things.

Daniel Thomas (the organiser) is a convicted kidnapper. The attempted kidnap was linked to drugs.

I guess it's up to people whether they're fine with violent crime and drug gangs. If that's what you'd like your communities to be based around??? Tommy Robinson himself has been convicted of multiple crimes, including fraud and stalking women. Again, obviously leader material for some people.

I'm amazed how easily and readily people want to hand off power to these men.

Cardhey · 07/09/2026 07:04

People have had enough. Happening all over Europe.

It does appear you do not know what the "far left" and communism is.

I bet everyone pearl clutching at my posts live in middle class leafy areas and never have to encounter the realities of 'diversity '

Posters who are keen should let Labour know.

LarryForPrimeMinister · 07/09/2026 07:07

Thing is if they were geuine asylum they wouldn't be paying people smugglers!
I don't blame Portsmouth for being angry, I'm from Portsmouth and a lot of people went out to protest.

Just out of interest, do you have any HMOs where you live, or hotels housing these men? Not being goady at all, I am just wondering.

Do you see it everyday where you live? Becuase from what I have seen, unless people have experienced awful things daily, they don’t believe it’s true.

It’s unfair to call people uneducated or wife beaters. These men tend to be housed in areas of higher deprivation. I live in one of those areas and it’s very easy to stereotype the local people and call them uneducated and call them other names.

What a lovely island we have become:
Reformers, racists, flag shaggers, tax dodgers, bigots, Andrew Tate apologists, Prince Andrew apologists, white supremacists, angry about money as we can't be arsed to get properly well paid jobs but instead blame others. Great.

Im not pro mass illegal immigration at all but I do miss the 2 seconds of tolerance and compassion we had for our fellow humans some time in about 1995.

Hyperbolic tosh.

Are the boats carrying refugees, people escaping violence, war and poverty?

Where you been all the time - have not read anything on X ?

I think adding HMOs to communities around the country is the thing that’s finally got ordinary people up off their sofas. Well done Andy 👏

Eh? I’m no Burnham fan but he’s been PM all of 5 minutes, not sure how any alleged rise of HMOs is down to him. Surely it’s a consequence of meeting people’s demand to shut down the use of hotels as asylum accommodation.

I bet donations have been down for a while.

Yes -the first I heard of it was when a friend who happened to be on a sailing boat near Portsmouth sent a video of the RNLI enabling the illegals. She is a lefty who has swallowed all the Guardian/BBC propaganda and so this was a real eye opener for her to see it with her own eyes. She has always supported the RNLI but has this morning said she won’t any more and is urging friends to boycott.
I could have told her this (not that she would have listened) because I used to fund raise for the RNLI but gave it up because so many people told me they won’t donate because it would be facilitating the people smugglers’ business.
I have relatives in Portsmouth - heard recently of a gang fight in a oreviouly quiet area between two gangs of Afghans…
No wonder the people of Portsmouth don’t want illegals landing there!

You should join X as this a media outlet for all the latest news not the MSM

Supersimkin7 · 07/09/2026 07:14

The Germans have just voted in an anti-illegals MP who is described as both far left and far right.

Everyone’s had enough. The trouble is, as ever, that government failures open the door to some undesirable exploitative types.

It’s exactly as a result of shutting down hotels and instead putting the migrants into HMOs and ex military facilities. When people protested against the hotels they wanted the migrants on a plane out of the country, not in a house of multiple occupancy next door.

The idea sold in wasn’t to just open other accommodation instead.

Edited

The irony is it's now usually labour politicans that call them names.

Not a Freudian slip.

For the government to introduce a process for Mr Asylum Apllicant to walk into the consulate and initiate an asylum application and go through the process whilst overseas instead of Mr Asylum Applicant paying a criminal gang for a space on a boat in order to get to the UK to initiate their asylum application and sitting in a process in the UK

Or better yet, for the government to introduce a process for Mr Asylum Apllicant to be put straight on transport to a 3rd (less appealing) country for processing.

There, the tiny number of genuine asylum cases (tightened up to mean only recognised individuals fighting an oppressive government, not men pretending to be gay...) can be brought back to the UK on a temporary refugee visa.

Refugee visas to be re-assessed every 2 years, and withdrawn when the country is safe enough for them to return. Safe enough by local standards - not necessarily a free democracy with full equality and rights like the UK.

DestituteDesperate · 07/09/2026 07:22

I’ve said this before on MN - I’m not white, I’m a child of an immigrant.

Look at how many second and third generational minorities are now gravitating towards political parties that want to deal with illegal immigration. The KEY word being illegal, it’s criminal behaviour that people on the left try to bully anyone that takes even a slightly different approach to.

Funny how those on the left who are all over MN and on social media, will call everyone FAR right but idly sit back when Kemi, Rishi and Zia are called every racial slur by those very people on the left.

Everyone is waking up, us women, us blacks, Asians, other minorities, they’re losing their pets and their grip.

They silence anyone who takes critical views on gender, illegal migration with using stupid labels.

They might be able to scare and silence white English people with being racist but it no longer works when us minorities are taking a similar stance to wanting more action.

White little girls were raped and the left told the English they should shut up for DIVERSITY. It was a Muslim Pakistani man who wouldn’t shut up and brought them to justice.

DestituteDesperate · 07/09/2026 07:24

When Sweden have had enough and successfully put into action a way to reduce these unsustainable numbers, we know it’s BAD.

ShitHoleDweller · 07/09/2026 07:28

Unfettered migration is causing levels of racism that damages everyone. We have Jewish people that are now experiencing anti semitism due the first time, second generation Asians having people shouting P**I in the street when they haven’t heard that slur for donkeys. It’s a winding everything backwards, the melting pot will turn into a rancid gruel unless this government and whoever comes next recognises it as a problem and shows they are trying to solve it.

DestituteDesperate · 07/09/2026 07:28

And I’ll just get this in before the usual left tactic of ‘but your parent(s) was from X’.

YES, absolutely he as but he entered the country LEGALLY, our new friends are paying gangs thousands of euros to reach the UK specifically for the generous benefits.

Bikenutz · 07/09/2026 07:29

“losing their pets”

I can’t take half of these posts seriously 😂

Agree, ironically only time I’ve ever been racially abused was from an Eastern European… make of that what you will.

So when people try to call this country racist or far right, I am astounded. Especially when you now have so many people here that are living him that exhibit and conduct themselves in far more racial and discriminatory ways and use their religion as a weapon against being challenged.

Very shameful.

You don’t have to justify living and working in the country! This country is incredibly tolerant of legal immigrants coming to the country and CONTRIBUTING. Swathes of net takers being ushered in, in the cloak of darkness is literally what nobody asked for ever.
