State schools are closing because the number of schools age children in the country is falling, so a few asylum seekers might actually keep one or two smaller schools open…

It should definitely be illegal to stand around in a threatening manner whilst wearing full balaclavas etc. Only criminals do that. Although, going on previous “gatherings “, it appears that many of them are.

For a mass protest to be legal you have to apply for permission. They did not. So no, not fair play. Illegal protest. If they followed all the rules, then yes, fine, protest about whatever you like, that’s part of democracy. But so is the rule of law.

Are you suggesting that all asylum seekers are rapists? Because it sounds like you are. I think anyone who commits rape is an evil bastard and should be locked up. I do t think everyone sharing a characteristic in common with him should be demonised (unless the characteristic is ‘being a rapist’). I don’t think we should protest against and ban all doctors because some have raped and assaulted patients, for example. Or go about saying - ‘well, that doctor only became a doctor to have access to vulnerable women to rape so anyone who wants to be a doctor must be intending to be a rapist and should be shunned’.

It was apparently organised by Tommy Robinson and is an anti immigrant protest. The reports so far have all states their has been no been no violence. Hopefully it stays this way

It did not look like a protest to me, more like a show of "look what we could do if we want to" type of threat.

I dont think violence was a goal, it was more of a show of how a large number of threatening unidentifiable man can be mobilised at a short notice on an order from who know who. Its a threat, basically, as i said already.

Imagine the same but with the addition of knives etc.

They were protesting outside a ferry terminal, they are only deterring ferry people, like foreign tourists.

I am glad they didn't set fire to cars, businesses and houses.

For goodness sake they are trying to draw attention to the fact that we are being invaded by those with ideals which don’t align with of decent British people! Thank goodness there are people like these standing up for what is right.

Well, you have a point there. We certainly do have a lot of people whose ideals don't align with British values. I mean, beating up women at conferences, setting houses on fire in Northern Ireland, mobbing houses where vulnerable people live, blocking a busy port and stopping people from going about their business... None of that is in alignment with British values, is it?

What are you on about! you come up with left wing propaganda slogans and absolutely fail to see what is happening. Open your eyes. This is a call by devoted British citizens who want to highlight the danger we are facing. The disruption is in line with what train drivers achieve when they strike or the when the left wing fanatics blocked roads for StopOil or what ever they call themselves.

Because it was nonsense I assume. We aren’t being invaded. That implies a planned and funded intention to take over. Even at their height and if every single one of them was a paid up soldier there’d weren’t enough asylum seekers coming on boats to do that. And now there are 40% fewer coming.
