They live streamed it on YouTube - looks like they’re trying to be mysterious and clever but as it was Danny Tommo linking it on X and some thick ‘journalist’ narrating their intentions and agenda are very clear.

I’m extremely right wing compared to most on this thread about welcoming potentially dangerous unvetted, unknown males from misogynistic cultures into the UK.

I have concerns around both illegal and legal immigration due to lack of integration and areas with lack of infrastructure.

However, I don’t think following thuggish, coke-snorting grifters and threatening mass deportations is the way forward. Yes, they’re troublesome but outside their own echo chambers they haven’t really got mass support.

The last general election was not that long ago and it wasn’t great for the right.

They aren’t devoted British citizens. They are thugs. They certainly aren't Christians. As I’ve said before, if they want to go through the proper channels and apply for a proper protest I’d absolutely support their right to do so, even though I disagree with them. Thanks for this. It’s easy for people to suggest it’s only ‘lefties’ who object to Tommo and Yaxley-Lennon’s tactics. My political views are, in fact, left wing but it’s quite clear that there is a massive gulf between centre right opinion and the likes of this lot.

You do know that numbers have reduced dramatically under the Labour government? Backlog of asylum applications is down dramatically too, so less people lingering in hotels or detention centres, thank goodness.

The lack of integration and infrastructure can be tackled by investment in those areas. There certainly are areas in the UK that need that extra support.

People will always find people/communities they can relate to, we see the same with expats in Benidorm for example

I saw his videos advertising this. Tommo had to explain how to fill in the country code for the phone number section.
The video itself had people looking nothing like this - more flags on t shirts and jeans.

Tommo said he needed a band of people willing to turn up and be aggressive at short notice - like flash things as current methods aren’t working.

I am not trying to be judgy (maybe I am) about the intelligence and capabilities of those this was targeted at but I doubt most at Dover were from those signing up as recruits in these public videos.

So I think there’s something more behind it than the violent muppets signing up for it - some one - and it’s being used as a cover indicating ‘British’ are fighting back - but the actual people there are more specifically recruited for certain skills.

Seeing them all there in black is scary - I go on counter protests a lot and never seen protestors looking like this. 😢

All I see is a bunch of posturing cowards who cover their faces and pretend to be 'patriots' disrupting the lives of people who just want to go about their business.

I live in another seaside town close to Dover and those idiots have disrupted our local buses and car journeys as well with their nonsense.

It is Saturday and our local small businesses/traders really need to be able to trade on their busiest of the week without these idiots causing chaos and the ferries have nothing whatsoever with the 'small boats'.

I would also assume as their faces are covered that they are also even locals and that the 'protest' was called to coincide with the Reform party conference.

Dover voted Green in August's council by-election while the right wing parties fought amongst each other.

Frankly I have had more than enough of Farage, Robinson and the rest of the far right lot and they can keep their hate out of our shores as far as I am concerned.

Your comparison with 1066 is interesting. That was an invasion, with a plan, a strategy, leaders and so on. It worked out with the system you now refer to as British culture and law… So yes, an invasion can have profound effects for centuries. A tiny number (relative to the existing population) of vulnerable individuals with no plan to take over or leadership isn’t the same thing at all though.

I was watching it live and judging by tweets from the Tommy Robinson account I don’t think he was that involved.

He was implying this was just the start and thousands more were on the way to Dover, that it would be blockaded for 3 days.

The livestream seemed to imply it was always meant to be a few hours saying we’ve done what we came to do and now we’re going home.

Considering it was supposed to be a show of strength from Sussex Patriots, Watford Patriots - I think they named a few other groups and that they have been teasing something big to come for a few days - a couple of hundred blokes for a few hours on a Saturday morning isn’t really that impressive so probably best not to give it too much weight.

Devoted British citizens - that’s a puzzle. They’re clearly out and out thugs - probably paid to be there and be intimidating.

I can’t credit Tommo organised this display totally off his own back. The folk he was attracting on his advert for this Patriot website are maybe dire, but they’re not this.

I go on counter protests - protesters are not solely concerned citizens and a lot are out for a beer and a fight but leaving that aside, as I said just above I have never seen an organised protest looking like this.

well if you equate anyone who wants to protect our shores as far right (or whatever word you want to use and this is semantics here) then you keep labelling them. JSO arrests (and subsequent sentencing) were pitiful considering the disruption they caused. Politicians are not listening so what do you want to do to raise your concerns. Hide behind false statistics and words branded by Labour and such like. This is an issue that will impact us all and anyway who denies the reality of this invasion shows an utter disregard for the UK. I feel proud that there are men in this country who are prepared to stand up to this and protect our women and daughters against an invasion of young men who do not respect our culture.
