While we are at it, can we call these troublemakers in Dover and Portsmouth what they actually are: men.

I’ve scoured the pictures from overnight and I can’t see a single woman there. Let’s call them “masked men” rather than protestors shall we?

The 1% relates to genuine claims not outcomes. Basically they’re highlighting fraud and dysfunction in the system.

But those claims were granted. So the insider is suggesting that other Home Office workers are acting fraudulently? Why would a civil servant do that, let alone many civil servants?

If they are hinting at political pressure... The percentage of granted claims has gone down sharply under labour. Why whistleblow now when it seems that issues are being tackled?

Or do they mean that the law is wrong?

What is their sample size I wonder, that they feel able to give such a specific percentage?

Absolutely. Whenever I see these guys on tv with their faces covered, it does make me think they are just scared wimps afraid to show their faces in case their Mummy's see them in case they lose their jobs.

Yes it's masked men who want to intimidate law abiding local people. They blocked roads stopping people getting away on holiday or to their jobs or leisure activities locally. They are thugs.

I think that all European governments need to get together in a Refugee Convention to look at our commitments and how we can future-proof them (against e.g. climate migration). We need a better system for this.
