Does anyone know what's going on in Dover?

Hundreds of masked protesters dressed in black disrupting Dover port.

They bear an unfortunate resemblance to the blackshirts

Port of Dover delays: Miles of traffic as protesters block roads

Traffic is being stopped from going in and out of the port because of a demonstration by a large group of masked protesters, with ferry services operating with some delay.

As a mother of daughters I am seething at the cowardice and incompetence of so many of our men. At least those today are making a stand, whatever their background.
what will it take? One day will we wake up and find ourselves in a true oppressive regime where we have no freedom to speak? And where women are treated as objects?
Our ancestors fought so hard for our freedom today and we cannot allow this to be lost.

Our ancestors immigrated here

They’re trying to show that many more times this number of identified men enter this country illegally every single day.

It’s incredible that many posters on this thread are suggesting this unknown, unidentified group of males are aggressive thugs, involved in domestic violence, never worked a day in their life (and every other unjustified assumption made on this thread), yet the far higher number of unknown, unidentified males entering the county illegally every single day (despite legal options being available) are nothing to worry about.

I am more worried about the 'Men' protesting tbh. Sickening.

You should check out what the " Brains" and "finance" behind reform want the place of women to be.

Have you not seen the news of the past few days re Reform ?

Bible, kitchen and making babies.

One day we wake up and the entire machinery of state has been taken over by less than 1% of the population? Don’t think that’s likely.
I agree we’ve fought hard for our freedoms, and I’m concerned by Farage’s open desire to roll that back by removing our right to appeal our government to an outside court (which could be handy if immigrants took over…) and his connection with US anti-abortion groups, and the desire to change firearms laws shown I particular bylaws with his ‘one murder in Dunblane’ nonsense.
You are looking the wrong way when spying out for danger.

Well you can mock all you want. What are you doing to protect our shores? women and daughters ?

The majority of violence against women in this country is overwhelmingly by men known to them and the vast majority are British Citizens. Those are the 'men' pur daughter's need protecting from.

Facts arent about belief. Facts are provable.
No real point in going further if you don’t grasp that.
Nobody is saying all asylum seekers are saints. I assume they have about the same proportion of wrong ‘uns as any other group. However I know lots of them and know lots of people who live near hotels and HMOs in which they live and none have had those experiences. I’m very sorry that you have and the perpetrators should feel the full force of the law. But it’s far from all asylum seekers.
As for ‘one is too many’ which you’ve said in other posts - don’t you think the U.K. should take anyone in need? That seems quite extreme.

you need to look at the bigger picture. Not all facts are facts per se as it depends from your point of view. So whilst you may perceive your fact in one way others will see the facts differently.

This small island cannot take in all the alleged asylum seekers or what other category they may be given. it is wrong to believe that we can or indeed should do this as a country.

only because we have been handing out British passports like there is no tomorrow. (indeed that is exactly what we have: no tomorrow)

They're trying to stop the boats, not realising that these are the wrong boats. Pretty typical of the Reform/Restore demographic. But we aren't allowed to call them stupid. I hope they're treated in the same way that the XR/Just Stop Oil lot were treated - arrest, sentence, jail.

They do know that cruise ships etc are the ones they are stopping, its about general disruption, pretty typical of the woke left to not see the point 🙄 (and good on the protesters tbh 👏)

Can I check what century you think we are in?

Anyhow, as I said a lot of these, presumably then in your eyes ‘competent’ men, are more likely to be domestic abusers, sex abusers or be generally violent than, I guess the ‘incompetents’, who stay home. This is a seriously worrying view.

I wouldn’t leave my dead cat with these guys tbh.

No. Facts are facts. Point of view is not relevant to them. If point of view is relevant it’s an opinion. Nobody is suggesting we take all the displaced people in the world, nor are they all trying to get here. We take very few per capita compared with the rest of Europe even, and most stay in countries adjacent to their home country.

Do you have evidence that more DV is committed by naturalised citizens than those born citizens (and how many generations would you need to call them British)?

Yes, if you do some reading and research so will you.

And this is Putin's triumph

Sewing discord and isinformation. Undermining trust in institutions.

Once again Russia nails the brief in the UK

What a load of old cobblers. There are plenty of people within the UK who would like to stop any criticism of mass immigration, they don’t need Russian propaganda to help them.

As for distrust in our institutions, I think many of them have caused that all by themselves, helped by various politicians along the way.

I've never in my life known a real protest where people didn't advertise what they were protesting about – very loudly.

I see it as plain intimidation

Also in terms of a potential future prosecution - would the fact that there is no ideology attached to this "act" make it more or less likely for the perpetrators to be jailed? The government came down hard on left-wing protests blocking roads IIRC

Blocking roads that allow ambulances access to A+E units is a different level to standing in the road with a face covering, teenagers do this every day, what is it you think they should be prosecuted for?

It’s Farage who is threatening my freedom - thankfully it seems vanishingly unlikely he’ll ever be in a position to enact his ideas - all the stuff yesterday about packing the Lords, dismissing the judges and reducing their oversight, taking away everyone’s rights under the ECHR rules…genuinely scary.
A few people, 25% of whom are women and children, applying for asylum and being looked after until their claim is judged - much less scary.

I think Farge will be gone by Christmas citing personal safety and the concerns of his family. All this 100 days of action if Reform win the next GE and making parliament sit for 24 hours a day 6 days a week is just fantasy especially coming from a man who rarely attends the HoC. Even when sworn in this week he legged it after a couple of hours. He does not want the work and stress of being PM although he'd love the initial buzz of winning. The scrutiny and the workload are not for Nige, he's made his fortune and I think he'll be off soon. He will enjoy be known in certain quarters as the "greatest prime minister we never had" and this will soothe his ego

More "culturist" if you want to be really silly? Different races wear the clothes mentioned, some white British women have adopted this mode of dress when they married somebody.

They're thugs, cowards who won't show their faces and wear balaclavas to intimidate/look paramilitary. Probably a distraction ordered by Nigel's mates.

This - all these so called ''hard men having to cover their faces the stupid
thick twats.

At it for 35 years, then give up before he is PM? Interesting, with AB it is easier to understand, he just wants the enhanced speakers fees when he gets booted out at the next GE.

So OK for women to cover their whole body and face in the UK but not men?

Are these women protesting as a group?

Are balaclava's accepted face coverings now?
