@MsJinksI’m not doubting what you are saying as I don’t know much about Tommo. I don’t think I’ve ever viewed any of his posts before today.

I only saw this as I was scrolling this morning and it was trending but the video I watched from I think 2 days ago said he wanted people to be disciplined not violent or aggressive.

Of course, it’s scary and potentially dangerous when men like this dress up and delude themselves they are some elite paramilitary force. I’m just optimistic that it is relatively small numbers and really don’t think today’s efforts are going to start a movement and mobilise like-minded individuals across the country.

It’s largely the same people who go and shout at hotels. It does seem sinister and deeply unpleasant but in the grand scheme of things thankfully very small in numbers.

Many protestors I see are actually violent with it - but even if not on the actual protest or here - it is a fact that they are way above average on holding police records of violence - often domestic.

No, the number of migrants is down too. When they say the number of small boat arrivals is down they aren’t referring to the number of boats but the total number of people. I’m sure you know this really, it’s well reported. Why are you pretending ignorance of it?

sure - I suggest you make an FOI request to the home office and get the information. I just look out and if I even see one boat crossing then that is too much. Does no-one understand the concept of protecting our borders. Even if only one illegal migrant steps on British soil it is one too many. I do not care about any other numbers you may want to rely on. Are you seriously asking me to provide you with data whereas the only data we can access is controlled by the Government(s). This is like asking turkeys to vote for Christmas (or sorry perhaps I should rename this true Christian festival and celebration to a slightly delayed winter solstice celebration).

What facts do you believe? These are ‘illegal’ invaders of our shores - that is a fact. Too many are already here with their ‘ideals’. I live in an area where some of these men ‘camp’ and my daughter and her friends have already experienced their ‘entitlement’ to harass and touch females. It is very fucking real. It’s Farage who is threatening my freedom - thankfully it seems vanishingly unlikely he’ll ever be in a position to enact his ideas - all the stuff yesterday about packing the Lords, dismissing the judges and reducing their oversight, taking away everyone’s rights under the ECHR rules…genuinely scary.
A few people, 25% of whom are women and children, applying for asylum and being looked after until their claim is judged - much less scary.

However, the type of people in general that he and Tiny Tommy attract look hard pressed to find their arse with 2 hands and a mirror to be blunt - our local public patriots group has some serious challenges for sure - their last poster spelled our city incorrectly, had the wrong date, many turned up late and some got lost at pubs whilst marching etc - without judging this here, I find it a real step up to get where they have been today. The other thing is that the majority who do turn out have real difficulties in not just behaving like old time football hooligans - the discipline and ‘uniform’ is striking in its difference.

So whilst yes his recruiting video talked of stuff like this I guess these guys in Dover look and behaved so disimilarly to those I see on protests and outside hotels I’m not sure.

I hope you are right and they can’t get the numbers - but equally it makes people feel intimidated and not wanted and needs to be stopped.

As a mother of daughters I am seething at the cowardice and incompetence of so many of our men. At least those today are making a stand, whatever their background.
what will it take? One day will we wake up and find ourselves in a true oppressive regime where we have no freedom to speak? And where women are treated as objects?

Nobody is saying all asylum seekers are saints. I assume they have about the same proportion of wrong ‘uns as any other group. However I know lots of them and know lots of people who live near hotels and HMOs in which they live and none have had those experiences. I’m very sorry that you have and the perpetrators should feel the full force of the law. But it’s far from all asylum seekers.
As for ‘one is too many’ which you’ve said in other posts - don’t you think the U.K. should take anyone in need? That seems quite extreme.

It’s incredible that many posters on this thread are suggesting this unknown, unidentified group of males are aggressive thugs, involved in domestic violence, never worked a day in their life (and every other unjustified assumption made on this thread), yet the far higher number of unknown, unidentified males entering the county illegally every single day (despite legal options being available) are nothing to worry about.

Looking at the organiser’s X account he’s been up and down the country recruiting for weeks.

If the best he can do is 6 coach loads for his big event it’s hardly a well-organised militia to strike fear into our hearts.
