As someone whose son was killed by the NHS and whose grandmother had her wrong hip replaced by the NHS and whose sister is a fantastic NHS nurse I completely agree with this. I hate the NHS and how we all have to pretend it’s so marvellous when the Emperor has no clothes. The inefficiencies alone are mind-blowing.

Urgh, that's horrible.

No slaughtering from me… I never loved her but I heard some of her dismissive comments about exams and education based on her own experience of succeeding in life. Well, forgive me if I don’t take careers advice from a well connected woman who went to finishing school. Same comment goes to Jeremy ‘you don’t need A levels (went to public school)’ Clarkson.

and yes, to whoever said Sally Phillips - the woman was ubiquitous at one point. Her views on screening for Down’s syndrome were retrogressive and got way more airspace than they deserved due to her (unconnected) fame as an actress. She seemed to require everyone else’s right to choose to be withdrawn in order to validate her own life and that of her son. Damaging to other people making hard decision and quite unnecessary to ‘justify’ her son’s life at all.

i don’t think I’ve heard the name Paula Radcliffe mentioned… but that is another one for me.

i absolutely cannot stand Peter Kay or Elton John.

I’ve loved Stephen Fry since his ‘A bit of Fry and Laurie’ days - disappointed to hear he’s a bit of an arse.

I didn’t mind Sandi Toksvig until I saw her programme celebrating women and her guest was Eddie Izzard - she plummeted to the depths of hell in my view that day.

But is he honestly regarded as a National Treasure? I certainly don't think he is! But maybe it's just me.....and you!
