Which organisations if any have you decided to never use again for one reason or another?

I'll start with British Gas, awful company, very expensive and customer service is non existent..there is a reason they have lost a few million customers of recent years, close second place is EE for similar reasoning.

Starbucks. They moved into a former pub in town with Victorian green glass tiles on the front, and ripped them all off. Even though they were Starbucks green!

Thry should have got into trouble for ruining a conservation feature, but it turned out another company had done the same 20 years earlier, and been forced to replace them, so Starbucks had ripped off the modern replacements, not the Victorian originals. So they got away with it.

Another 20+ years later, I’m still furious with Starbucks. That branch closed down years ago, but I continue to boycott others, and often mutter “they were your corporate colours” as I pass by.

Ryanair - never again, no matter how cheap. Horrible company.

Wagamama now they have reduced their chicken welfare commitment. No excuse.

Curry’s - not to be trusted if they sell a defective product

So many examples, but big ones include giving workers an accommodation allowance ten times the going rate of property. For instance, a typical house would be $300 per month. They got $3000, which drove up rental prices overnight. Locals and anyone on a local salary then really struggled because the NGO's just paid a huge amount more than anyone else could afford, absolutely skewing the local economy. Plus so many ridiculous benefits - holiday allowances, hugely inflated wages compared to local wages, brand new cars where tax was 100% of the car's value...just incredibly casual spending of people's hard earned donated cash. And that's before you even get onto the scandals and completely ineffective distribution of funds and resources on the ground...

British Gas. They reset all our metres without informing us, spent months telling us we were in credit and trying to lower our direct debit. When we moved out they sent a bill for almost £3000 and refused any attempts of explanation. Sent us a dead lock letter without conversation or providing any evidence or information. It took months and having to take them to the Ombudsman to resolve who immediately found in our favour and we were paid compensation. Even after this.. they still sent our accounts to debt collection despite us no longer owning the house! The customer service beginning to end was awful and we immediately left when we moved into our new house! Would never use them again.

EE ,anyone reading this , AVOID !!!!! I was with them for broadband. Then the broadband stopped working and they wouldn't fix it, I.was without EE broadband for 6 weeks relying on mobile data from the phone provider. I couldn't even switch because EE refused to release the line or something for another company to take it over. Fucking bastard of a company

Same. I was a bit sceptical about Fussy but it’s really good!

Nat West. My ex husband had overdraft and loan debts with them which they took from my children's Nat West savings accounts, which weren't even opened by him but by my elderly grandmother!

Parcelforce who think Finland is in Milton Keynes and told me they couldn't deliver because they couldn't find the address despite me repeatedly telling them it's because they were looking in the wrong country.

Does that still exist? I used to use it, stopped buying it when they put Diana's signature on the box. Wrote to the company at the time and said the thought of associating food with a rotting corpse was gross. Never bought it since.

Anywhere that doesn’t accept cash.

I booked a villa in Portugal boasting sea views. It was on a building site. Couldn't get access for 3 hours after agreed time. It was dirty- cups with cigarette butts dirty toilets, shower flooded. No keys to the property for 24 hour hours, cleaners walked off with them.

Phoned to canvel booking/ change accomodation. Suggested a 4th floor flat in the centre of Lisbon- no loft- with my disabled mum.

Could not get a resolution. Then the property owner tried to bill is £1000 for thr blocked drains we reported eith images on our arrival. I was pursued for this.

Never never again, I don't care how nice the place is. I had been using AirBnB for years before this.
