I’m so intrigued by the user names on here. Some are just so funny.
Mine is derived from my Grandma saying it.
How did you come up with your user name?

Mine is my drag queen name bestowed on me at work… I also have a Sylvanian name 🤔

Mine is welsh but doesn’t translate well.

I name-changed just after watching the 1995 version of Pride and Prejudice (again)...Mr Collins cracks me up when he does that little wave to Charlotte and she looks astounded 🤣

I was driving down from the top of the hill and Michael Mosley's Just One Thing programme was the only thing I could get on the radio. I was listening to the way he spoke rather than what he said and wondered what it would look like written as musical score, which I thought would be a good name for MN. I hadn't been using it for long when he died so had to change it.

Current one - I wanted something-else-cat but it was taken and this sounded similar. I regularly name-change and there is rarely great significance to my names. I like cats but 'abacus' has no significance at all other than it has the same cadence as the taken name.

Was feeling a bit grumpy and it's a type of Roman gladiator .. Weapon similar to a mezzaluna worn on the arm, I used mine to chop herbs... Plus I've several sisters.

I wanted a very dull, generic 'mum' username.

It is a combination of my love of rap music (which raises eyebrows, because I apparently come across as "posh, probably privately educated and listens to classical music for FUN") and in homage to a famous pig that I knew!

Mine is because my neighbour is a police officer and she hangs out her uniform on our shared washing line. It takes every once of my self control not to steal it and go riding around town arresting smacking delinquents.

I'm sure she has a gun too so just waiting for that day when she leaves it next to her laundry basket. I'll be full on 'Phoebe Buffay, homicide' 😅
