I’m so intrigued by the user names on here. Some are just so funny.
Mine is derived from my Grandma saying it.

I'm a terf and a Miss Piggy fan.

PrincessHoneysuckle · 26/08/2026 16:06

Meaning of name and favourite smelling flower

BabblingBiddy · 26/08/2026 16:06

Someone on the feminism Board referred to us all as babbling biddies so I rolled with it.

CatsGiraffesSpiders · 26/08/2026 16:08

My daughter's (current) favourite animals.

SimplyMaidSimplyTasty · 26/08/2026 16:10

Mine was inspired by an advert for Clover margarine (other spreads are available) on the back cover of a free Tesco magazine.

BathTangle · 26/08/2026 16:10

The first Georgette Heyer book I read, plus it was when my DCs were little and bath time could indeed be a bit of a tangle!

CaptainMyCaptain · 26/08/2026 16:14

Mine is a quote from The Archers from 30 or 40 years ago but people usually think its from the Walt Whitman poem (if they think about it at all) understandably because that has the same words.

ithinkilikethislittlelife · 26/08/2026 16:15

Because I genuinely do. My life is little in the big scheme of things but I truly would not change a thing 😍

EmptyInTheValley · 26/08/2026 16:15

It's in the first line of one of my favourite songs. The Cave by Mumford and Sons.

EmpressaurusKitty · 26/08/2026 16:18

My original username was EmpressOfTheSevenOceans after my favourite book.

It evolved.

Kitsmummy · 26/08/2026 16:18

Mine’s a bit of a stretch. I have a son called Kit.

TheOnlyLivingBoyInNewCross · 26/08/2026 16:19

Hello, good evening and welcome to nothing much
A no holds barred half-nelson and the loving touch
The comfort and the joy of feeling lost
With…

BitterTits · 26/08/2026 16:19

Mine is my imagined antonym of sugartits.

My mum used to say fiddlesticks too!

dontforgetme · 26/08/2026 16:20

Favourite RHCP song. Favourite ever song to be honest!

ProfessorInkling · 26/08/2026 16:21

Octonauts!

Lentilcakes · 26/08/2026 16:22

DerangedBillionaire · 26/08/2026 15:49

Inspo from the FWR section.

I change names frequently though, normally it's whatever I can see at the time - my amount of phone charge was favourite for a while.

Same - I use about 5 names interchangeably!

Tillow4ever · 26/08/2026 16:22

Mine was inspired by my favourite tv couple - Tara & Willow from Buffy.

Mydogisagentleman · 26/08/2026 16:22

Because he is.
Previously, I was kreecherlivesupstairs.
In Switzerland. We had a bonkers old woman who lived above us..she looked like kreecher in the Hzp films but didn't have his temperament

XMissPlacedX · 26/08/2026 16:25

I moved far away from my home town and miss it terribly, so it’s a play on words related to that. I might try and come up with a slightly better one now I’ve taken notice of peoples usernames on this thread.

JoleneJoleneJoleneJoleneJolene · 26/08/2026 16:28

My favourite song
Feels especially special today 💛

daisyydaisyy · 26/08/2026 16:30

Daisy daisy give me your answer dooooo

SometimesTheIntrusiveThoughtsWin · 26/08/2026 16:30

Because sometimes they do.

InMySpareTime · 26/08/2026 16:35

Name reflects when I go on MN, but was from a time when the DCs were babies and Spare Time was a rarity!
Now they’re adults and moved out I have oodles of spare time.

Tarkan · 26/08/2026 16:35

It’s my dog’s name.
