Lindsay Clancy confession

How do you feel about the confession from Lindsay Clancy only being made after the professionals told her what she did upon coming around from her coma?

I definitely thought she made a confession, but it seems like there’s a huge doubt on that detail actually. It seems like when she woke she didn’t remember anything, and she was “informed” of what she had done and her confession followed this.

I dont think she had psychosis at all - she heard voices for just the time it took her to kill
her children in a horribly violent way. She is mentally unwell. depressed. Or maybe resentful of all the work of three kids and a not very helpful husband.

The husband did seem helpful I thought. I dont think she had physcosis. I think she had mental health though.

In court when the autopsy person was giving evidence LC was crying and at one point the judge had to stop it as LC was crying and unable to listen to what had happened to her children through her own actions. After listening for 8 mins. That was enough for me.

Enough for you for what?

The prosecution do not have to prove she committed the crime.

Of course they do.
Do you not understand the basic fundamentals of a trial?

If only it was guilty or not guilty. She’d be locked away in prison. Do you understand that? Or did you miss day one’s opening speech by HER defence lawyer?

I watched the hearing on YouTube with Patrick on the stand. Its quite long around 2 hours. Her mental health was well known from 2022 and LC did state that she felt as though she would harm her kids on more than 1 occasions. I am not sure how it all works to get sectioned in America...... but she did need sectioning. She was having paranoid thoughts too.

None of the psychiatrists who treated her saw any signs of psychosis. She never told anyone treating her* that she was having thoughts of harming her children.

The day before she murdered them, she told her main psychiatrist she had no thoughts of harming herself or her children.

*Most or none of them were aware she was seeing all these other psychiatrists, doctors, and psychiatric nurse practitioners, etc etc, and getting multiple scripts, and only taking the benzos with any regularity.
