Honestly, this thread has taken some odd turns today. I never thought I'd be arguing on here with folk who think pensioners, including disabled pensioners, should be forced to sell up their homes.

Indeed. PIP and (sorry to bring age into it) Attendance Allowance are not income based. Rightly so. After state pension age, you cannot make a new claim for PIP, it has to be Attendance Allowance. Those on PIP before pension age get it indefinitely.

All that hope. Then he gives Rayner her old job back. And the hope has gone .
