I'm going to Wetherspoons later to meet an old friend, we will be eating there, but I can't decide what to have.
What do you recommend?

I'm here to be a Mumsnet snob! I don't mind cheap reheated food I'm just not going to put a penny in Timmy Twatface's pocket. And I don't think anyone else should either but obviously I can't stop you so I'll just do a judgy Mumsnet post to satisfy the ones who only opened the thread to read them.

I, OTOH, would be very pleased to 'put a penny' in the pocket of someone who provides reasonably priced, safe food in surroundings that are safe and welcoming to anyone, regardless of age, income or social status. And clean loos to boot.

And no dogs allowed either. That is a HUGE plus.

Agree re dogs, one of the few places that have held out against letting them in
