I've been watching tennis, I'm completely obsessed with Wimbledon and have been for over fifty years. So not been concentrating but I see what he's said this morning, I guess this means Strait of Hormuz being blocked again pretty soon? Fuck sake.
Enjoying Farage with egg on his face. Reform said yesterday they are paying for the by-election, so I'm guessing if it's just Farage and Binface they might be pissed off? But they can't leave Clacton without an MP so they'll have to fork out? Because he has resigned. The R4 Today programme this morning interviewed Binface, right at the end if anyone wants to listen, about 8.45-ish, it was truly glorious and surreal. 😂

My opening post is to ask, what sort on non Binface logic is this?. From CNN;

One source familiar with the matter who privately raised questions to CNN about the capabilities of the new aircraft in international settings.
But Trump suggested in a post to social media that the change in planes was simply to give US service members stationed at Mildenhall in the United Kingdom “a chance to tour the Aircraft.”
“Everybody is so excited, and we thought that they should be the first,” he wrote.
He continued: “For old time’s sake, we’ll be taking the former Air Force One, from Turkey to Mildenhall, a short trip that is totally worth doing in order to give our Great Military Heroes a chance to appreciate our beautiful new addition to the Air Force Fleet!”"

So he is using the real AF1, not the new one, to "give US service members stationed at Mildenhall in the United Kingdom “a chance to tour the Aircraft.”

I checked by the way. Mildenhall to Clacton is 67 miles. Oh, and the US have 2 of the VC-25A Jumbos in service. So he is showing them one of the official ones. Does he know he flies on 2 different original ones ?

Getting new distraction tips as the last one hasn't worked.

What's amusing is that there is no airplane actually named AF-1. Any plane the POTUS flies on is designated with the callsign 'AF-1'. So he could fly in a Piper Cub and that Piper Cub would be 'AF-1'. If Vance were to fly in the Qatari jet, it would be called AF-2 during his flight. Since the 'older' jets haven't actually been mothballed, if he flies in one that jet will be designated AF-1 whilst he's on it.

You know, I will admit I think the new colour scheme is pretty sharp. But my understanding is that one of the reasons for the pale blue bottom of the old scheme was to make it harder to 'target' the plane for attack. The new dark blue bottom will make it easy pickins' since it'll stand out against the sky.
