Other speculation is that he will trigger a Clacton by-election

If he was returned as MP the standards investigation would simply pick up where it left off.

But I imagine he thinks it would be a good move to mount a campaign prior to the investigations conclusions (I’m the victim here).

A helpful distraction without having to go through the ordeal of being questioned in front of cameras.

And then to wave it as proof the £5 million bung was fine.

According to the Joseph Rowntree foundation a family of two adults, two children needs a minimum combined income of £74k for a socially acceptable standard of living

Why not reduce what is a socially acceptable standard of living instead ?

Didn't Boris jump to avoid the verdict ?

He resigned after the Privileges Committee findings but before he could be recalled.

Interesting interview with Tim Montgomery on World at One just now. It was hardly a ringing endorsement of Farage.

Tim spoke in sensible sentences, well done. Hasn't a clue what's going to happen and moans that Reform is more scrutinised in the press than any other parties.

😂

I am sure Farage will use that line as well

A lottery win requiring you to deregulate crapto.

I understand he's just doing this to camera? No journalists, no questions. No surprise there then.
