A chat thread for those who don't like this Labour government 💙

The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.

How about that then a Brilliant Performance when your consider what was thrown at England last night. Man of the Match In our house DD2 year 9 14 who got herself up at 7.30 school uniform on and got the bus to school. The rest of us completely zonked out in bed. DD2 telling us DD1 DS DH and me to shut up and be quiet at 3AM. DD1 who has finished GCSEs telling DH not to swear because DS will use it at school. DH screaming it is not a F* penalty when Kane touched the Mexican in the box . DH screaming Ref you are a F cheat when they found 11 minutes injury time from somewhere. Afterwards telling DS that is a game of football! DS only two weeks left in the state system repeating year 10 at Independent thank goodness. By the way Bellingham outstanding Gordon best I have seen him play and Kane never misses does he

Norway will be a Premier League Game and very difficult, but we should have the edge across the teams take out Haalland Odegaard and Bobb and we should win !

You might have to partially thank Starmer redange! If the fixture had been moved to an earlier time, the outcome might have been rather different.

Are we not permitted to mention his name on the thread? I thought redange might see the funny side of it, she has a nice sense of humour.

Interested in this thread?

I’m enjoying the Guardian ripping off and rehashing a Sun article. Mind, I’m more inclined to put faith in the story knowing that the Sun got it rather than the Guardian.

WhatFreshHelll · 06/07/2026 22:23

If it's true it might be the only good thing he has done as pm/his legacy 😂

WhatFreshHelll · 06/07/2026 22:24

Maybe that's. Future job ? England manager or working for FIFA

WhatFreshHelll · 06/07/2026 22:25

I can see Kier on the side lines in his track suit

redange · 06/07/2026 23:25

You are right about Starmer actually achieving something. maybe it is the role of Prime Ministers and Presidents to decide on kick offs times > who should be sent off as opposed to running the countries they are supposed to !

Apparently when FIFA had started thinking about a 7PM UK time kick off the FA had not been informed, which says to me they wanted England to be ambushed . This as things that went on off the pitch by the Mexicans were disgraceful running in to the England Coaches after the Quansah Challenge. This also up for review that it might be a Yellow Card rather than Red the 4 VAR refs from Central and South America, make of that what you will. The appalling referring in the France Paraguay game when it was obvious he was on Paraguay's side.

Finally apparently Burhham thinks fans should be able to get 'pissed' in view of the pitch, instead have having to stand and drink in the Concourse of the Stand. What lunacy perhaps he wants visiting fans tipping Beer on top of others or for them to throw plastic cups at the players. I think its because Labour think 'Working' People are so stupid that if you let them have a Pint you can fuck the country up and no 'Working' person will care if they are constantly pissed ! How they will be able to afford Beer though is another issue.

A funny thing I did before the Morning Lower Sixth before the 1990 World Cup Game VS Belgium. my Grammar School was 1990 Sixth Form Uniform Navy Skirt Navy Pullover type thing not full School Uniform like what DD will have to wear from September. setting the scene I went in wearing a white tee-shirt with a red Cross painted across it and wearing a pair of red addias tracksuit Pants and White Trainers . Redange how dare you get out . I got sent home from school by my own mother !

In Wales when the rugby is on our boys and our grandchildren both at primary school and secondary were/are allowed to wear something to support the team.

Just listening to this podcast: https://podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/the-daily-t/id1489612924?i=1000775668249

Interesting tidbit: Labour donors won £138m in contracts in KS’s first year! 😲

Makes a loan for wallpaper and the nonexistent PPE scandal look quaint.

Parsley4321 · 07/07/2026 08:05

I don’t exactly know what’s going on with Dale Vince but what I do know is he’s getting a bit too much publicity for my liking last week. He
seems to be moving away from Labour after donating £5mill and away from Milliband why I don’t know 🤷‍♀️he’s also taken his Palestine flag down from his building in Stroud and put up the England one. Watch this space
as a side note went to see the Nova exhibition last Friday bloody harrowing very well done but just awful 😢

Thanks. I'm planning to catch up with that pod later today.

You've just reminded me of that dodgy £4 million donation Labour received from a Cayman Island investment fund Quadrature Capital. Received just before the rules changed so they didn't have to declare it.
Iirc, someone from Quadrature was then given a govt job. Dodgy AF.

Ooh, glad to hear the mahoosive Palestinian flag has been removed.
I hope he doesn't put it back up after the world cup.
Vince recently lost his defamation case against Richard Tice, and had to drop his libel case against Lord Bailey and pay his £600K legal fees. He's not having a good time. Good.

USA has lost to Belgium and are out of the World Cup. So there is a God, and he's just kicked Trump's massive derriere.

I believe Bollard is the correct spelling. Did you name change just to write that?
