Seriously though, spend all day exhausted then when I get into bed it’s so bloody hot I literally feel wide awake now.

Contemplated sleeping in my car tonight with the aircon.

This really is no fun is it!! Jealous of anyone who has proper AC installed!

There is a small breeze coming through, I have been on my feet all day - I dong think I’ll be awake long !

I've got two fans now set up at angles across the bed. Hoping for the best! 🥵

I can't wait to go back to work tomorrow night, just for the air con 😆

This is not a problem I have. I put a flat sheet on my bed instead of the duvet and a fan on the chest of drawers

Yep windows are open but no breeze, fans are circulating hot air and its currently 29 degrees in our bedroom

I’m downstairs on the sofa. Back door wide open. It’ll bugger my back but 🤷🏻‍♀️ think I’ll be purchasing ac units by next summer. I run a business from home and I can’t run some machines in this heat so it’s going to be necessary I think

It's definitely hotter in my house than last night. Absolutely sweltering. I've been to an air conditioned cinema this evening and couldn't believe how hot it still was when I came out. And even hotter in my daughter's bedroom. We went and sat in the garden at 10 o'clock as she couldn't sleep even with the fan on full blast. It's cooled down to about 30 degrees now and she says she's okay clutching an ice pack.

Can’t bear the thought of going to bed as it’s currently 31 in our bedroom, watching the Scotland game downstairs with the windows and patio doors wide open and there’s a lovely little breeze.

Just bought myself a mini fan to sit by my bed. Makes a huge difference.

I live in a block of flats in London, on the second floor. I’ve got my windows and balcony door open with internal doors open too and there’s literally ZERO airflow 😭

I'm in a ground floor flat so can't have the window open beyond a crack. I'm on a sheet with another sheet on top and am totally naked but still boiling hot and restless. Cat is fed up and has decided the outside is finally preferable to inside.

I got a tip today, absolute game changer. Fill a hot water bottle, freeze it.....take it to bed with a tea towel wrapped around it. Move around body as needed. Bliss....

I'm lying on the bed with the fan blasting on me, all upstairs windows open and two wet cloths spread over me!

I do this with a large bottle and wrap it in a tea towel or pillowcase then hug it. It’s amazing and I never struggle to sleep when I do it

I have had about 7 hours sleep total since Sunday night due to the heat. I am also having about 10-15 hot flushes a day which is fucking fabulous in this heat. Fucking perimenopause.

Husband is snoring next to me, I am dripping wet in sweat and did kinda lose my shit tonight and say air con is being installed as a matter of urgency as this is totally unfair. He just didnt get the hot flush thing. So tonight when it happened he felt how hot I actually got and has been a bit more contrite since.

Laying on bed with a fan blasting at me. Still boiling.
But now thinking im hungry and need to get up for a snack 😂

Dip a pair of thin socks in cold water and wring out. Put them on before going to bed. This really helps me. Usually bone dry in the morning.

I'm feeling peckish too, not eaten much today, drunk loads so not been hungry. Had to put the KitKat's in the fridge to stop them melting.
