Which App is this please? I'm trying to look as many as possible in the hope that we might get some relief from this weather soon.

It's the Netweather radar. One of my most consulted apps!

dontcallmelen · 25/06/2026 17:29

Storms here forecast about 4am Friday still meant to be 34deg Saturday 30deg Sunday supposedly 25deg if I fecking last that long, even I who really doesn’t mind the heat am done.

I use lightningmaps.org

Thanks. I use them too. It's slowly creeping northwards towards your area.

Britain's biggest trade union endorses Ed Miliband for chancellor. Others expected to follow.

Sets up an inter-union battle, with GMB and Unite opposing Miliband.

(Side note - have we ever had explicit union endorsements for chancellor before?)

That's usually better for lightning strikes. The netweather app is a bit hit and miss with them but shows where the rain is, how heavy and where it's falling as something frozen.

I have no idea. It was a meme on Facebook. I still get pushed shite from the right. It took three days of reporting to get rid of Rupert Lowe for a couple of days.

Yesterday, was a Clarkson farm knock off group- it had been created 2 days earlier, followers were in the tens of thousands, moderators had Indian sounding names and for every one post with a picture of the cast, were 2 stoking hate against people and government. I reported that one for copyright infringement- I don't know if it actually is, but it sounded plausible and they removed it from my Facebook page straight away.

I found this

Some posters who love 'Kemi' and always lurk may need help. But then again for those posters this is their USP.

Latest from John Crace

Crace usually makes me laugh but even he can’t make that litany of shit amusing. It’s profoundly depressed me.

@cardibach, the Met office Forecast has moved the thunder and lightning forward to 8pm for us, it’ll be with you about 9! I can’t wait. It was 34.5 according to my car just now. I am sweating so much my glasses keep falling off.

I’ve just showered and now I’m hotter and sweatier than I was before it. Unfair

placemats · 25/06/2026 18:27

Our shower temperature is at tepid, circa 35c and even that feels hot.

My brother has just moved to London last week to be close to his sons and their families. He's got a great flat and is doing well, despite the temperatures. Communal lounge with air conditioning.

I like netweather’s ‘Will it snow’ feature in winter.

Felt the same, reading about that crook Johnson really hasn’t helped my body temperature, he is right about Cameron I don’t recall him ever being even slightly remorseful.

Happy half Christmas Day. This time in six months, we'll be moaning there's no snow at Christmas.

Never happy.

Me too. It's not too far from you now but it does seem to be moving at snails pace.

So carers aren't hard working. Wow. Just wow. Saving the tax payer tens of thousands every year for a pittance, but not hard working. That's a horrific thing to say.

I work for a wage, but I don't work hard and don't have a family to support. Do I count?

Ooh, it’s suddenly gone very dark here. Big clouds.
