@Pacificwave I posted some links to studies about that in the winter
Honestly, I don't know what it's going take to get people to see.
In other news, people are seriously weird on other threads or I have maybe got taken in chatting to AI? I suppose the heat is getting to everybody.
It's not forecast to calm down in My area
So, I don't know how to get the flat to calm down
I saw a thing earlier saying that people need to be wary of booking into hotels with Aircon because it's too hot for a lot of systems to cope with it
The fridge and freezer in my old flat used to pack up every single summer because it wasn't designed to cope with the temperature around it being more than 35°
Such is the joy of the way we've built property since about the year 2000. 🙄
all those posh flats that get bought by investors in London, foreign investors I mean, they've all got air-conditioning. I think a lot of of those were built in the 90s. Obviously looking at prices that I couldn't consider.
But I think they were built so that you either get heat or cool air through the same vents? Makes a lot of sense. Is that the air pump source thing that people were talking about? I can see the issue there. If it feeds the whole building then if the heat or the air goes, then that's going to be a massive repair job?
also, you can't go to your neighbour and say "please can I hang out in your heat or air for a bit?" But a lot of people don't seem to know the neighbours so I suppose that's not a factor in planning 😂
