A chat thread for those who don't like this Labour* *government. 💙

The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.

I haven’t seen it all, just some clips. But I cannot see anything in it that is remotely as bad as the ludicrous insults and allegations thrown at Tories by Labour over the years, whether at the despatch box or from the backbenches.

Labour hypocrisy and cant as usual.

Middlerage · 24/06/2026 19:15

Kemi simply said what many people think as far as I can tell.

It's hypocrisy writ large on MN, it has to be said. And, again, a baffling lack of comprehension as to the content of our threads. If I didn't know better, I'd say that they're trying to paint themselves as intellectually (and likely morally) superior. <snort>

Poor @derxa was given a hard time earlier. Fair play to her for allowing the PAs to stand.

He’s been a momental prick over the course of PMQs. Idk how Kemi put up with it.

If any over arrogant male spoke like that to me at work, fuck that. He got booted as he was an arse.

I don’t endorse the physical reaction, but I do think he’s one of the most obnoxious politicians of my lifetime. The way he spoke to anyone who questioned or doubted him revealed who he truly is: a puffed up shit.

👍. Read it too fast. I thought you were saying you’d boot his backside.

Yep. I remember what he was like before the tables turned in Kemi's favour. Patronising obnoxious prick.
I'm thrilled that Kemi has out-lasted him.

YouGov polling gives Kemi best score to date.

Kemi Badenoch has been on upward trend in recent months, with her latest net favourability score of -15 the highest yet recorded by YouGov.

What will Starmer actually do now?

He’s a complete lightweight with proven terrible judgement, so no consultancy or big company will want him.

He’s a hopeless speechmaker so there’s no opportunity on the speaking circuit.

I’ve never seen anything to make me think he can write, so a book or journalism looks out of reach for him.

I can’t believe he could return to the law.

Oh well, self-mocking ads for shampoo or cat food or quorn it is then.

For a year. Before he’s totally forgotten.

I'm sure some dimwit will employ him somewhere as a professional virtue signaller or something.
You're right about the speaking circuit. Who'd want to listen to that feckin voice a moment longer than necessary.

Has the penny dropped that Starmer is despised by even his own party, but its all our fault? Yawn.
