Have you ever hated something that seems very popular with everyone else ?

Just for fun so no sarcasm or nastiness please .
My friend and I went to see a West End musical this week . I was really looking forward to it . Great reviews . Celebrity cameos . Camp and fun . Seemed right up our street .
We both hated it . We were turning to each other with puzzled looks and raised eyebrows (we've known each other forever and have very similar tastes so no words needed) .
The audience seemed off their tits to be honest . Screeching at every unsubtle innuendo . Shouting responses to the actors . It was like a really bad hen do .
We left at the interval .
My point is that everyone else seemed to be having a great time . The staff who opened the doors to allow us to leave at the interval were incredulous . I quote : "Are you not enjoying it ?!"
Well no , we weren't . We thought it was shit .
This is a show that is up for lots of awards and has had so many positive reviews .

Yes, the second isn't as good as first, but it had its moments so worth completing the story.

Team building / bonding crap at work. Who are they kidding? If you died, they’d advertise your job before they’ve read your funeral details!

Anything to do with work that happens outside working hours that you are ‘pressured’ to attend. You pay me to work for you in agreed hours - that’s it.
( of course if you want to attend, great, my gripe is the pestering, the pressuring, the sly remarks if you don’t want to attend, or can’t )

Agree with living with someone, but will put in brackets (except my adult kids). I don’t live with them, but would have no issues if I did. Everyone else can just sleep on a park bench.

Which is why I no longer pay for a tv license. I find amazingly interesting things on Youtube for free.

I couldn't tolerate HRT. I was continuously vomiting or at least nauseous, and I tried several types, tablets and patches. It wasn't quite as bad as being pregnant (I had HG) but not far off. I do worry about my bone density as my Mum had osteoporosis and I saw the problems she had, but for me the side effects of HRT were way worse than my menopausal symptoms which I think were fairly mild. I did have quite bad hot flushes for about 5 or 6 years but nothing else to speak of and I felt so terrible on HRT that they were the lesser of two evils.
