A chat thread for those who don't like this Labour* *government. 💙

The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.

I'm beginning to think that we're just being had by all these people and we have been for a long time

They don't actually believe the things they say they believe. Since the invention of social media I've realised that a lot of people are masters of trolling and it stands to reason that those people were also masters of this kind of manipulation before social media

They are tuned into a section of society that I don't understand at all, and that's why they're doing so well.

When was this just out of interest?

I left that role in 2008 so a while back. We were all on around £28 k then and she earned slightly more as a team leader. I remember asking her what on earth that cap would do for aspiration, people wishing to move into higher paying but vital roles like doctors etc but she was absolutely certain that no-one needed to earn more.

I didn't ask her if she gave her own salary over her arbitrary threshold to charity.

We've been mercifully low on furious / angsty ploppers post-election, so it was nice of this one to be original in their accusation! 🤣🤣 Bless them and their sore loser stance.

That article by Phillipson is enraging. I just wish they'd listen to the electorate's concerns rather than making shit up. The second comment (Caroline?) has it spot on.

Yes some angry, upset people around taking it out on here.

I think even the potential ploppers realise they would get owned - they seem content to reside in their bubble of denial, whilst barking at the moon.

Let them own their defeat for once.

justasking111 · 10/05/2026 08:26

The basic mp salary from April 2026 is £98,,599. I didn't realise it was that high. No wonder they're flapping like hens, desperately toeing the party line.

WaffleBomb · 10/05/2026 08:26

Good morning 😁

That piece by BP is jaw dropping. They don't help themselves.
No Bridge, the electorate haven't failed to see the fruits, you haven't delivered any.
Love the comment from Caroline. She's spot on.

Starmer is in some of the papers this morning talking about being in power for a decade.
Deluded.

Is he planning on banning elections then? Idiot man.

Can you imagine what he would try to impose during another pandemic?

Martial law.

Of course he is. No wonder they’re losing voters to everyone else.

Hallowedturf · 10/05/2026 08:44

I don’t joke when I post this.

Starmer could simply be suffering from mild cognitive impairment as a function of age. We know it accelerates after 60, and is more acute in men, than women.

Some of the main symptoms include loss of reasoning, difficulty with planning, and poor judgement and trouble making decisions.

DeposedPresident · 10/05/2026 08:48

Watching Phillippson on Trevor Phillips and she is angry, defensive and rattled.

I detest that woman with all my soul.

Just listening to Phillipson on Sky and she seems to be suffering the same ailments.

I am praying for a hot mic incident with one of these Labour lot doing the media rounds….

Upstartled · 10/05/2026 08:58

Yes, wonder in LK is braced for the righteous indignation in the face of perfectly reasonable questions?

DeposedPresident · 10/05/2026 09:02

It's a car crash in slow motion - and all of their own making.

I won't go into all the reasons I detest BP. i on a few of the earlier threads and it was all said on there by more articulate posters!!

NoWordForFluffy · 10/05/2026 09:08

I wonder what her excuse for not dealing with the EHRC guidance will be, now she doesn't have the made up excuse of purdah?

WaffleBomb · 10/05/2026 09:11

I wonder if BP is brave enough to go on Camilla Tominey this morning? She does sometimes, so that will be interesting.
