The new deputy mayor of Hackney apparently thinks no one should make profit if they're a landlord
These people are very clever. He's 19 or 20. He's got himself a salary of 45 to 60 K depending on allowances. I'm not sure how much actual work he will need to do, but we're going to be getting a mayor and I really don't like it - we run perfectly fine without one. I appreciate that London needs a mayor overall but I do question the smaller mayoral jobs
He's mostly run on a campaign of selling hope. And he'll be able to walk into a lot of jobs after doing this. Very clever.
maybe he will do something useful I don't know. I'm always willing to keep an open mind. But I'm very glad I left London. The results there are.... very London.
