Where in the name of jaysis does my neighbour be going?

I am working from home the past few weeks and my desk is at the front of the house beside the window. My next door neighbour does not work, has no car, has no kids and I never see friends popping in to see him either yet about 20 times a day he leaves the house and comes back all in under maybe 10 mins per time. We do not have shops close enough for him to be going to so it is not to there and he is not gone long enough to exercise and has no dogs to walk just in and out the whole time all day. Baffling to me. Irritating too cos my ring doorbell goes off each time too.

Totally pointless thread cos nobody can know where he is going but jesus h christ its sooooooooooo many times a day. My dog barks every single flipping time too. Yes I will be happy to be back in the office next week!

He'd get arrested for that.. and 20 times a day? Jesus.

It would drop off 🤣

I would be pissed off with your dog keep yapping.
I used to live next door to this small yappy thing that barked everytime a bloody pigeon farted. Owner had no idead how to train it.

"every time a bloody pigeon farted" 🤣😂

He'd have worn it down to a matchstick by now.

Dealing I would understand only I know his nephew is the local cocaine dealer and he provides neighbbour with ample amounts. Again it really is a closed off place, fairly affluent etc. Not that drugs dont exist but people who take drugs in a low key way. I started thread out of boredom when waiting on a report to load in work but now I am actually wondering for real myself what is going on.

Then the neighbour is passing out bits (as we call them were I am) to cover his usage and serve the small amounts his Cousin can't be arsed with, or doesn't want to be seen, serving people with.

Huh. The 'poor' neighbour is the one who's causing it in the first place.
Confused

The neighbour is simply leaving his house, he probably has to hear ops untrained dog barking all day at everyone going past.

BaronessBomburst · 28/04/2026 20:33

Has he been particularly active today? There's a Pokemon event and they released the orthworm this morning. I may have been spotted standing on street corners more than once.......

HoldItAllTogether · 28/04/2026 22:17

My first thought was pokemon go too.

Does he go out at very random times?

Nofeckingway · Yesterday 08:48

Maybe he went to a Novena and he is doing penance . Twenty Hail Marys and 6000 steps a day . Or he will go to Hell.

Itsanewdawnitsanewdayitsanewlife4me · Yesterday 12:16

Totally forgot to come back to this thread yesterday as I only log in to MN on the laptop. He goes out at all times of the day. Say this morning he went out at 7.30am and back 10 mins later, same around 9, 11 and just now has gone out and come back in about 5 minutes. Maybe it is just to get out of the house but his father left this morning and hasnt yet come back so he isnt doing it to avoid him anyway!

He went out again 5 mins later then got dropped home by cocaine cousin who sat outside for 5 mins and now they have both gone off again so yeah most likely drugs I suppose although he doesnt look like he earns good money so im best off not asking for a parttime job 😂

It’s very easy. You just move the lines around. Mine literally cover the block paving outside my front door. In motion settings, then edit zones.

Thank you, I’ve just done mine from your instructions! 😁

Riapia · Yesterday 13:13

It’s possible that he’s doing it because he knows you’re looking out of the window. He knows that it will puzzle you. Or maybe he’s working up to coming round for a cuddle, he’s a little bit shy about making the first move. 😉😁

I play pokemon go and often wonder close by to the nearest virtual pokestop so often pop out for 5/10 mins and wonder what the neighbours think 😂

I was going to suggest Pokémon go

I think after over 20 years living next door that shyness is not his thing and he is definitely NEVER coming near me for a cuddle for sure!

Could it be in his pocket though? And then he gets it out when he gets to where he is going. I really want you to find out what he’s up to 😂

Tomorrow is my last day full time working from home and I am taking Friday off so I think at this rate I may follow him 😂

I’m so sorry you had to go through that 💐

This is why I can’t stand nosey people like OP.
We should be free to walk out of our home without feeling like we’re being judged.

Who cares what he’s doing and why.
He’s not hurting anyone and so I don’t get what the big deal is.

I guess some people just have boring lives I guess 🤷‍♀️

How do you know he’s not hurting anyone? If he is drug dealing then he very much is!
