CBS reporting about non existent Iranian gunboats. Must be fake news ?

"Iranian gunboats fire on tanker, British military says
Two Iranian gunboats have fired on a tanker in the Strait of Hormuz, the British military said Saturday.
The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations center said the tanker and crew were reported safe, without identifying the vessel or its destination."

And CNN says this:

"Shipping heading towards the Strait of Hormuz today has started to turn around after the Iranian military reiterated that transits for commercial shipping would be tightly restricted – so long as a US blockade continues.
Vessels such as the Al Ghashamiya, carrying LNG, or the Sti Elysees, carrying crude oil, were both bound for ports in India but remain stuck in the Gulf, with shipping monitors showing them reversing course.
Three tankers under US sanctions - Gardian, Raine and Crave - were seen transiting the Strait earlier today and have now reached the Gulf of Oman unopposed, though the US blockade could still turn them around.
During the brief period when Iran eased restrictions CNN estimates at least nine vessels passed through the strait."

And CBS again report this Tweet:

So far as I can make out, no ships have been boarded by the US.

I see that on the story upthread of a tanker being fired on:

UKMTO has received a report of an incident 20NM northeast of OMAN.
The Master of a Tanker reports being approached by 2 IRGC gun boats, no VHF challenge that then fired upon the tanker.
Tanker and crew are reported safe.
Authorities are investigating.

Which Authorities would that be???
If US hasn't acknowledged it, does that make it fake news?

My point was that as it doesn't fit in with the US narrative of the strait being open, by ignoring it, are they claiming it's fake news.

Much like a toddler sticking their hands in their ears and saying they didn't hear it, so it doesn't count.

The thing that astonishes me is that Trump is being said to have done a reading from the Old Testament.

For one thing it is almost certain to contain hard words, no matter what translation he has gone for. (I mean, is he actually able to say "humble" as if he knew what it meant?)

For another, has he really stuck to the text and not rambled off and followed the devices and desires of his own heart?
