She didn't. She got into the US as a tourist and then got a working visa. The Einstein visa needs the applicant to meet three of the ten points, she did. It isn't about an exceptionally high IQ. Granted she was helped.
Like it or not, she's done well, if marrying a wealthy man and being able to lift your family out of poverty and onto western soil and knowing any children you have will never know poverty, is your goal. Trump might be hated, but he would have had many women applying for her role. If she wasn't white, the posts criticising her accent, would have been deleated.
As for her ex friend, she wasn't arrested by ICE, on conviction of running unlicensed botox/surgery clinics, she asked for deportation. ICE are the people who handle deportation. She might not be the best parent for her son and just be bitter about her perceived lack of help. There's been pictures put out that claim they were taken on Epstein yacht, Malania has proven that they wasn't. We all know Melania posed naked and used what she had.

But that then stifled what you have to say. Unless you have massive comprehension issues, you can understand broken/mispronounced English. Or do you live/only mix with British people? I know some counties are very white/posh British.

Well, yes. He's so sleazy, I would struggle to be in the same room as him, let alone touching him or constantly being next to him. The thought of sleeping with him actually makes me feel ill - I assume she doesn't nowadays, but she presumably has at some point in the past. But in particular she must have no pride or sense of self-worth to be prepared to support a rapist publicly.

I thought something like this too. Not one mention in defence of her husband, she didn't call him "my husband" or even "Donald" just by his full name "Donald Trump" as though he was a stranger. There was chatter when he went for a second term that she had agreed she would stay with him but not do the adoring wife act and yes, I thought this was an exercise in distancing herself from the shit storm.

My comment was that in an effort to make the
speech easier to deliver for MT, her team could have changed a few words that she struggled to pronounce… without changing the overall message.

Maybe she's worried because the only people who end up in prison from those files are women.

My first thought was that she was distancing herself from Epstein's victims who have been labelled as prostitutes rather than survivors of sexual abuse - I don't think she wants her brand to be tarnished. It's an obvious connection if people thought she gained access to Trump through Epstein. I don't know much about her though.

Well, the approval ratings for Donald are nosediving in the USA. The Economy is biting, Medicare payments have been removed for many, the midterm elections are coming up. And the Iran War hasn’t quite been the rabble rousing success that DT might have hoped it to be. And Epstein has not gone away.
Lurking in the background are DT’s suggested connections to Russia via his first wife’s father. Epstein was known to be strongly connected to Russia.
None of it is going well basically.
Even MAGA devotees are very confused about the War in particular.
Melania seeking to distance herself from Epstein is a bit of self defence.

I don't think she is trying to pull him down, only distance herself. He may have agreed for his own reasons or she may have leverage on him or he may be too addled to realise what is going on.

I suspect this could be she has discovered her husband has had more to do with Epstein than he has let on there are more allegation to come. Trump has always had a sleazy side to him and it would not surprise me if he is in this up to his neck.

Or she is being forced to read a script to distract from the Iran debacle (which may have been timed to distract from the Epstein files).

From her tweets it looks like she is an old personal friend of The Trumps who has been deported by ICE and is now threatening paedophile accusations at both M & D - but seemingly only because they didn’t intervene in her deportation - she was happy to keep their secrets for decades…….
