Trump has literally said he will blow up the whole civilisation. He will not be protecting the lives of civilians! Far from it!

As Trump himself said quite clearly, he has no respect for International law. It follows therefore that to Trump, civilians are legitimate targets. What will now happen is a clear attack on civilians which will not by itself change the view of the theologically based leaders in Iran. I feel very depressed about how fast the world has moved to a very negative state of affairs.

You are right but isn't it still absolutely terrifying that someone so powerful can say something and get away with it. If I said something online right now about ridding my neighbourhood of a particular race I would (quite rightly) be deleted. It's really scary. I just hope and pray his reign will bring about a series of constitutional changes in US law so no individual will hold such power again.
