Oh my goodness gracious, I have just happened to see a photo of Kelly Osborne and she is unrecognisable. So sad, I do hope she will be ok, I could not believe it was her.

Agreed. She looks really unwell.

The media spent decades calling her “fat” and “ugly”. This is sadly the result of all that.

I think she’s been fairly open what a very difficult time she’s having and she has had substance abuse issues since a teenager.

im sure she’ll be fine, she’s seasoned at getting support and it’ll pass

And I don’t think it’s grief, I think she’d look like that if her dad was still alive. She looks older than her mum

I was shocked to see she is only 41. She looks older than her mother.

I think she realises she has gone too far. It was almost like she had her anti-troll comments at the ready.

She spend her teen and early 20s being called fat by the public and papers.

now she’s getting the same treatment for being too skinny.

she recently responded to the ‘she looks unwell’ comments by saying yes, I am unwell, my dad has just died and I’m grieving.

She must be going through the most horrible time. I feel so sorry for her and hope she finds some peace soon.

yep, especially from the days of the osbournes tv show to how she is now, yes first and formost as long as shes happy and well thats the main thing

Under many circumstances it’s absolutely fine to comment on how celebrities look unwell l, and talk about it to each other.

I have a teen DD. It’s no easier enforcing body positivity than it was back in the 90’s and 00’s when we were told sporty spice is fat. Largely thanks to Celebs who are high profile choosing weird surgeries and jabs to make them look skeletal (looking at the Wicked weirdos as well). Too right we need to have these conversations and to tell our easily influenced DDs that this isn’t normal and these women don’t look good. I’m not one to sit around smugly saying “I shan’t body shame” when my teen is exposed to all this damaging nonsense

I don’t really think that’s what she means, I think she’s saying that grief has triggered anorexia. She’s very vulnerable to turning her traumas onto ocd type behaviour, being an ex addict

sorry triggered is the wrong word- she’s clearly been anorexic for years. I meant clearly caused her to lose whatever management she had of it.

thats the thing these celebrities' then influence thousands if not more when people try to copy their diets or how they style etc

I dunno what the fuck was happening on the set of Wicked but everyone, even the men, look emaciated. Michelle Yeoh and the 2 main characters look close to death and behave like they’re 12 years old but also 90 years old. My DD followed all this as she loves Wicked and, like all teen girls, she’s very aware of her body. I was really worried she would look at her heroes and see this as normal.

Maybe I’m harsh but rather than infantilise grownup millionaire women we should expect better when they know fine well the influence they have on younger generation who will never have a fraction of their power and money

She is an unhealthy weight and looks ill, as is, and does, her Mum.

I get the point about 'body-shaming' not being a good thing and she suffered from that for years as an overweight teen but we also need to be able to discuss peoples obvious poor health when it comes to weight or cosmetic surgery.

Which shouldn't include nasty comments like 'she looks dead' but it shouldn't be considered body-shaming to comment when someone looks very unwell. When that person makes money from, and lives their life on social media.

Yes, and I had to really balance my outrage about this with not being seeing to body shame them, with DD. Not to mention she basically thinks I have old lady opinions anyway 😂 but thankfully she could see how odd they all were and we had a few discussions about their appearance and behaviour at the premiers and interviews etc
