That's given me an idea! I think I'll ask for Fire Brigade by The Move and go through the curtains when they reach the chorus and start singing 'call the fire brigade, call the fire brigade'Grin

Isn't that song basically about a woman who is 'hot stuff' in a sexual attraction way, with the fire brigade used as a metaphor; and a man who is infatuated by her - possibly to a stalky extent?!

Ive been to a cremation where the deceased requested burn baby burn (disco inferno) and everyone laughed which lightened the mood a bit.
Then a very emotional song chosen by their partner....which everyone cried

Not connected to funerals, but there was a bad overnight fire in a Tesco store in our region some years back (20+ years). It did a lot of damage but, thankfully, nobody was hurt.

The local paper covered it and used the front page headline 'Tesco Inferno' - and I still remember it and chuckle Grin

I went to a funeral where this was the song for a man in his 90's . It said what his children were thinking but couldn't voice.

Ooh, what a burn... but sounds like it was all of his own doing.
