Actual deportation figures hunted down by the NYT suggest 230,000 people who were arrested inside the country and another 270,000 arrested on the border, last year, plus roughly 40,000 people who returned to their countries after signing up to “self-deport” and receive a stipend – in other words were bribed to go away.

I make that a little over half a million deported since the fart came to office last January. Many, many millions....

Somehow I am unsurprised to learn this. Even if many of the files amount to laundry lists, that's the sort of number I might have expected: it would be what, one mention every six files? Sounds entirely possible, doesn't it.

I just can't understand why nothing is happening. Why hasn't Andrew been arrested? Why does Trump get away with it all? Why is Maxwell the only person actually in prison for any of this? That's if she is still in prison, given that the footage recorded in her cell was from 6 years ago.

Because money talks the rest walks. That, and the 'old boy's clubs'. Maxwell has no 'power' in her own right, any power she had came from Epstein. The 'old boys' don't give a shit if she rots in prison for the rest of her life.

I think the actual names in the files are just the first domino in a huge row of dominoes. The first 'domino' gets indicted and will sing like a canary and implicate other people to try to get immunity. And the other dominoes will do the same as they fall. And when it comes to businessmen being named, businesses that do business with them fear they will suffer financially if it's known that they do business with XX person. So they put pressure on for names not to be revealed for fear of damaging or devaluing their own business. It's a big nasty onion with many layers, and each layer that gets peeled back may reveal more and more nastiness.

As far as Andrew, the US isn't going to do anything to him ahead of doing anything to the perpetrators in the US. It would be a long and expensive extradition battle to get him here I think. Since supposedly some of his 'activities' took place in the UK, I think the US will leave the UK to deal with him. Now, should he set foot in the US, all bets are off.

I have to say, I was a bit concerned about posting it because I'm new to the thread & some people don't think wishing demise on anyone is ok. Shutting down airspace of a major US city for such an extended period hasn’t happened since the aftermath of 9-11.
